Hello. I am thinking to buy a new video card, or rather to improve the entire computer. I take on the video card 2-3 GB, but I have not yet decided. Can anyone have these cards and posovteuete is better. :D

Well, I use a GTX 650ti 1gb and thats runs everything great, so I guess a GTX 680 will be way better. I like Nvidia more because of the features like physx. You might also want to think about the different speeds and prices. Heres a comparison between the two:

What Brands Are The Cards, sapphire, gigabyte, asus etc...

I have a 650ti boost 2gb. It does run everything pretty well overclocked. I would just go with whichever's the cheapest, but like the person above said, just use that comparing site. When choosing my GPU I just go to Best Buy, select some decent looking ones that I can afford, and use that site on one of the demo Macs to see which is best. I used to have a 7750 2GB and I bought a 2nd one to Crossfire. It didn't crossfire at all even though everything was compatible and set up right. So I returned em and got myself a EVGA 2GB 650ti boost. It works great for me since it doesn't bottleneck my CPU or anything. It is kind of unstable when the core is overclocked more than 120mhz or so.

Here you well in America, etc. You still cheaper. Here in Russia terribly overpriced ... eg IPhone 5S 64GB. It is gold. In America - $ 849. In Russia - 49,900 rubles - $ 1,513. We have a golden overestimate by 5-6 thousand rubles - $ 150-180. Facepalm ... I need new card for new videos. Game slow slow slow down, when on the map 3-5 cars. :D Thanks.)

7970. It performs 5-8% better on average and has more Vram and wider bus for larger resolutions. Not a hard decision.

Just so you know, that's nothing to do with the graphics card.

Um... no. I have GTS450 1gb and game so slow when 3-5 cars on map. I'll have to buy a processor, etc. I am now only left to deal with the video card. :D

Your graphics card isn't the one processing the physics of those 3-5 cars, which is what slows the game down. Your processor is handling the physics of the car, meaning that it's the cause of the lag, and would be the first thing you want to upgrade.

Go for the HD 7970. You'd only buy the GTX 680 here if you were a Nvidia fanboy.

If you go for nvidia has nothing to do with beeing a fanboy. Yes, AMD has better price/performance ratio but that's all.
Nvidia has tons of cool stuff like physx. The cards usally look much better, are more silent, etc... If you have the money than go for a 780, it's looks beast and performs beast.
Nvidia and AMD is like, let's say iPhone vs normal phones, Bmw vs Audi, etc...

But if you go for AMD, never take a stock card with the stock cooler, apart from that it is unbelivably ugly, it's louder than an airport.

Lol no. I didn't mean that you are a fanboy if you buy Nvidia, I said that if you have to choose between the HD 7970 and the GTX 680 and you pick the 680 then you are a fanboy. AMD has better price/performance ratio, yes. About the noise and temperatures... that is if you buy one with the stock cooler, but same happens with nvidia's stock coolers, they're bad. Any dual/tri-fan cooler and the card is super silent and cool. Another thing about physx, AMD has mantle, remember DICE and 3 other important game developers are already using mantle, and a lot more to come. We still need to see how much of an improvement it will make, but they already said is big :D. And thinking about the future, mantle, consoles using AMD hardware... I wouldn't buy nvidia with that situation. And I'm not a fanboy, I just buy what I think it's best at a specific time, and that right now, is AMD.

Well the stock titan cooler wich is on the Titan, the gtx 780 and gtx780ti is not that loud. And the green geforce text on the side makes it for me the best looking cooler you can get. The cooler is actually the biggest reason why I will buy 780ti :D

I'd get HD7950 and run it on 7970 clocks and it will perform a exactly the same and you'll save money.
