My 970 said it supported DirectX 12 on it's box. Tbh, BeamNG in a way relies more on the CPU than the GPU.
Win8 don't support DX12 I guess, so I think DX11 would be enough nice, not sure if DX12 would really change much, graphics quality is not necessarily related to DX version. Of course there are some new things with every DX version, but it takes time to develop those new features in game, it might be better to use that time to make some of annoying things in Torque 3D go away, which might actually allow gfx improvements more than porting to DX12. OT: I think update will come Friday, but is anyone betting for Thursday? No, not this week, but you never know.
But there will still be that who who say: "**** this stupid game it won't work the devs are ******** to sell a broken game I have a gtx 690 and it won't even work **** that! I want a refund on this stupid game!" So I say: "GTX 690s don't exist, and your grammar usage makes it sound like you don't even have a job, and are using a dell from the 90s." And not give them a refund because they didn't read the requirements. Please don't ban me...
Mine supports direct DX11 suprise tho I have intel hd 4400 intel core i3 3.40ghz 16gb of ddr3 1600 MHz ram dell optiplex 3020. Before I used my some what and some not great grandfathers computer
No. Only 41% can use it. DX12 is exclusive for W10 (or if you trust Russians there is a version for W7 64).
Yes but, 41% with windows 10 and DX12, and 33% with older windows and DX12 is 74%. Even with those two numbers divided it still means the majority of people have do have DX12. BeamNG is a light game to run graphically compared to many other games out there right now too, just throwing that in there.
Completely offtopic, but after reading the Italy progress thread I wonder if they will include abandoned buildings, or maybe an abandoned village like in the mod Dune Island
If someone posted this pic of Italy saying it is from WCUSA, I'd probably believe it. This one is just not obvious because of the roundabout. Also, Is that LjF's "5 minute jobs" or we are looking at something more finished?
theyre probably the final ones because they look quite high poly and why would they invest time into making something high poly and then not putting it in the final game
Nothing on the Devblog at the moment either. I did get some sort of update to Steam itself yesterday - I almost mistook it for an update to Beamng until I realized that there's usually 1-2 weeks when several previews of new content is released. We have been getting lots of new pictures of both WCUSA and Italy, but neither currently appears to be in a releasable state.
