Errm, those are called duallies. Look at real trucks of a similar design, they also have doubled up rear wheels.

That does make sense physically, If there's no force on the inner wheel IE no brakes or ground contact, it should in fact spin

I thought it was pretty obvious that he is trying to show that the dual wheels are not locked together like they should probably be. This is a known issue, I suppose some extra beams will need to be added to link them up. Maybe it will come fairly soonish as a week or so ago Gabe posted pics of a little progress on the T75 which will also use duallies, maybe it will be not be fixed for some considerable time, I dunno.

Yes, we are well aware of this problem. It is not possible yet to connect wheels to each other with beams, and making a locked differential between the inner and outer wheel doesn't work.

Gabester would it be simpler to build a dual wheel tyre as a single piece in the game?

Sure, but it would be very physically incorrect. Both tires would deform and deflate as one, which would defeat the purpose of having two tires on each side.

Speaking of deflating, what does it take to pop a tire in this game. In my three months of crashing a driving, I haven't been able to pop one.

Potato, did you mean pop, or cause those bits of it to disappear? I can usually get the tires to "pop" just by going over a medium sized jump.

yea, I meant pop, as in causing the tire to lose it's air. i'll try the jump thing

Edit: I have tried so much stuff and I can't get em to pop.

The low pressure light will come on in the dash if you pop a tire. It's not difficult at all; try sliding into a curb.

Just blew the front tires a few minutes ago. I'm always popping tires.

    Close:

    {"pressurePSI":55},
    {"maxPressurePSI":1500},
    {"reinforcementPressurePSI":45},

Unmodified front heavy wheels. Just made a hard landing after blowing out the sidewalls.

Hi, I tried to adjust the differential from inner to outer wheel, this came out. better than nothing, and what was before....can try to see what the difference.

You changed the engine torque coefficient from 1 to 11500. If that's actually working you've increased the torque from 1x to 11,500x. Not really a solution. If it doesn't work, then it means any change is a placebo effect.

Yes I know. One another idea, I'm curious what you think, if you change the differential method, to handbrake or brake solution, which always braking the inner/outer wheels with max torque, any time!!!
    It can operate:confused:
