Actually, his avatar is an art piece of his. I've seen his DeviantART page, and he has some really good art. --- Post updated --- Why do I feel regret for not doing a "did you just assume their gender?" joke?
"These distant landmasses are absolutely placeholders that look pretty bad. I think it helps lend a bit of authenticity to the island to be a part of a wider world however so I'll probably mock some up properly in world machine and bake them out to low poly objects." - LJFHutch
I agree on April 1st being a possiblity. On another related note, does anyone remember or have any news on the tire thermals that were mentioned ages ago?
It is currently year 2560, just check the current date in Thailand, Buddhist calendar has different years than Christian calendar
I read Nadeox1's posts here: https://www.beamng.com/threads/assign-vehicle-sound-to-a-key.37458/ So, sounds will not be in next update and there is going to be some changes in near future which mean there is no point working on sounds currently. I'm not sure if that change would be new sound engine or if these changes would be actually changes in lua/game engine that would make work on sound engine itself pointless at this moment. Of course near future is subjective term, but maybe new sounds are 2-3 updates after next update away? Or maybe next update contains these near future changes and sounds get love after that? I guess it would be too soon.
Because we can. Stop bashing us. --- Post updated --- You just said tourque, then focussed upon power. WTF is wrong M9.
Update will likely not happen on April 1st for a few reasons: 1. Outside the normal update schedule (sometime between Tuesday and Friday, usually Tuesday and Friday), April 1st is a Saturday. 2. Being a day that is about for fooling around. 3. and for being April Fool's day, nothing will really be taken literally. Devs will definitely post a few things on that day, but will likely be jokes. They did this last year (tdev, diamondback and luisatonrebollo made fake micro blogs while LJF made a legit one), look on the first page of the 2016 Micro Blog. not to mention but some non-dev user(s) will also do some fooling on that day #notateaser
I apologise for using the wrong terminology. Torque and horsepower can still be mentioned in the same context. You can have tons of torque but it if only makes it at low revs, which the T-series does, it results in a very slow truck with a low top speed. Even if it made the torque another 500rpm later it would add atleast another 100 or so HP.
