Just thought I'd bring back my old thread from RoR. Post anything that YOU own that's ford related, be it an RC, a motor, a tractor, a truck, whatever you have!!! I'll start off: My 2014 Ford F-150 Raptor SVT
I can play... 2008 Ford FG G6E Turbo. 4L DOHC 6 with boost. oh and it looks like a grandad's car. Excellent.
Once I am older, I am always wondering if I should buy a F350 XLT in Blue, and apply a 3'' lift kit. IDK, it seems cool.
Man those wildtraks are awesome! It's too bad they don't have the ranger in America anymore. Oh well, at least they are bringing it back! Once and a while I will see one from Mexico but it's usually very rare.
well my family owns a 2002 ZX5 focus with 4 banger and 5spd manual and a 1982 F-100 300i6 w/ 3spd manual that will be mine when i get my license pic of the truck and the only thing i've done to it (white ford letters)
thanks but, here's the thing though even though the ranger is most sold "european" truck i almost see more dodge rams daily, and let me tell you when i or anyone see a dodge ram or ford f150 or suvs from the us all heads are focused on that vehicle because over here in the Netherlands you get heavily taxed on those vehicles (stupid left wing politicians) unless your a business and not too mention the fact that a liter of gasoline over here cost around average 1,45 - 1,50 euro and in the us it cost around average 4 liter 1,10 -1,20 dollar so if people here own an suv with a v8 or pickup truck with a v8 you know they make a wealthy living this is one of the big reasons i like study to university, save up all my money and move to america because of work, living cost, space, vehicles, the beautifull landscape and bit for the culture
That thing is nice! I always have liked the older styles. F-100, wasn't that the last year they made the f-100?
I have a broken tail light from Ford, it was in a shed when I bought the place, so not much of Ford here. I do have some lubrication posters for old Fordson major tractors at wall of my garage though, from time when those tractors were newest stuff.
Yeah, it's unfortunate but I test drove the one my dad ordered the other day and the only major difference I thought what the suspension. It sounds like a hippopotamus farting though.
It's not tragic at all. The new EcoBoost makes more power than the old 6.2 ever did. The 6.2 wasn't that great of an engine anyway. They had reliability issues, were inefficient, and were heavy.
Speaking of reliability issues, what do you think of the 6.0 Powerstroke? I've heard it's pretty unreliable but having never owned a Ford (and not planning on it) combined with living in Australia where I've probably seen a total of 5 F-350's in my life (not even joking) I really have no idea what they are like.
Brother had a 2005 Ford F-250 XLT with a 6.0. Sounded awesome but it was on its last leg. I was with him going to get a part from John Deere and suddenly the pickup lost all power And black smoke poured out of the rear exhaust. And finally, a cracking sound. That was the end of it... he still had a picture of it, I don't know if I can get it. Now the 6.4L Powerstroke, that's a whole new thing of unreliability. The 6.4, 2008-2010, is a very rare find here, and the ones you see are normally gas. My dad had a 2008 Ford F-250 and he was taking me to school but suddenly, it made a crackling sound as he started to leave a green light and when he put his foot all the way down, BOOM. And that was all she wrote. That pickup was always in the shop, how very disappointing. But remember, the 6.0 and 6.4 were built by International, and the main problems that the 6.4 was a screw up was because of them taking the 6.0 and trying to make it fit the new smog regulations and released it as a 6.4. We all have 6.7L powerstrokes now. I have 2011 F350, my brother has a 2015 f250, and my dad has a 2017 F350. The 6.7 is one of the best motors next to dodge, and this is cummins from someone who has to drive f650's and f750's with cummins in them. --- Post updated --- I have driven both, my personal truck and my dads, the 2017 raptor felt like it had no power compared to mine, that was really disappointing. Now my 6.2L Raptor, has no reliability issues of that kind whatsoever. I've driven from California to Colorado every year in it and I have absolutely no problems. 6.2L sounds awesome! And it has a lot of power!
