Update Speculation thread

The date format argument was over. You didn't need to bring it back up.
Also, if you're going to try to correct someone, at least spell the words right.

On Topic: The update will come whenever the devs are ready. It's useless to argue over dates when we were given a a pretty broad range for when the update might be released.

 

And like I said before, I believe the update will come on a day nobody expects.

 

I don't think they're going to change the sound engine, because in the 0.5ish update, they changed it from something to ALSoft.

 

... or they'll wait until april fool's and prank about releasing 1.0 with sounds or something, then they'll release it a day or two after.

 

I think that the Wendover will be unexpectedly fast, just like the spiffy LeGran.

You clearly don't understand why bans are handed out then. That comment wasn't even remotely close to being worthy of even a warning, much less a permaban.
OT: An April Fool's day update would be funny, but then again, most of the devs are from Germany, where humor is, shall we say, different.

 

watch the devs release a "update" that just makes up think we are getting an update.

There's a feeling inside of me that says you're right. I've been waiting for an update for a long time now, just like everyone else has. The Hopper is big for me, and so is everything else in the future. Beam is my prime source of entertainment besides Forza Horizon 3 and Fail Army.

 

beamng was my primary source but it's mainly My Summer Car now.

 

It seems like we get at least 1 new map each year in an update.
2014 was ECUSA and Hirochi raceway.
2015 was JRI
2016 was Utah and ETK Driver centre.
2017 most likely would be WCUSA and maybe something else
2018 most likely Italy

 

Hopefully well get a CBE Truck. Because Awesome

 

I doubt Italy will be in 2018. Progress on it is coming very good from the Devlopment blog

 

I don't know. It's really up in the air. Most of it is unfinished, same with WCUSA.
