    I read it... It's just F2YS said it was coming soon and I like the silverado.

    i noticed that all other threads are either locked or gone except for this one. is this part of a clean sweep to fix the bugged group system?

    They were moved to the other group, as they were mostly unrelated to this mod but rather generic monster truck threads.

    Add-ons and companion mods were also moved.

    Group is returning to its original function as soon as the mod is approved on the repository.

    I only ask this because we never had to worry about it with Rigs of Rods. Seeing how you can't really have branding in the repository and you had to remove all the brands from the existing textures, wouldn't that mean that the mod would have to either just be a bare chassis or some generic bodied custom paints? Seeing how all of the Feld names are copyrighted and I'm sure all of the independent names are to, wouldn't that mean that no real names could be used for the mod? We didn't have this problem with ROR since it was a free game and nobody was making money, but I could see this definitely being an issue.

    I'm sure you probably have this figured out already, I'm just curious.

    Brand names were removed, and so were all the body designs. The mod available on the repo will look more or less like this:

    Some bodies will be converted into fully breakable shells (first ones to make their appearence will be the Ford Raptor I'm doing, and Grave Digger by @Olrosse) and will be offered as separate add-ons on the forums, where copyright is not an issue.

    i have an idea, why not make a breakable D-series body for it with some custom paint jobs for it as stock, but have it breakable like the other bodies are going to be and it be the only body? and maybe use both the cab spoiler extension thing and cab visor from the bigfoot body (they fit the d-series)

    So does that mean my add-on pack is still fine since it has real trucks?

    You need to implement multiDAE. Bodies your pack is building upon won't come with the main mod anymore.
