To be honest it would be so satisfying to get one in good condition with a working engine and post pictures of the whole thing in this thread, purely to watch the world burn :p

Anyone ever play Enthusia? I went back to it today and just started hotlapping. Started with the Austin Healey Sprite.

I had no idea a British sports car could be so horrible to drive, but at the same time, it could make a good teaching tool, as it will punish you for every single imperfection. It looks cute and harmless with its feeble engine and bug-eyed face, but it really likes to hurt people.

    HA HA HA OOOOOOOH

Hondas aren't that fast out of the showroom but some people can make them horrendously fast.

Get a mustang with an i6 and swap in a 2jz. I think someone has done it before

No. No 2jz. Precisely for reason you mentioned. Done before

Then use a 7M-GTE. Not as refined as the JZ engine, but they can still make a fairly substantial amount of power.

JDM engines produce NO torque at all. This would make the really heavy car have no performance, at all.

Eh you'd be surprised. 333ft-lbs is hardly nothing

    My friend's '66 Charger develops 700-something lb-ft of torque.

    My Mustang makes 245lb-ft...

...I feel it's enough. It'll break the tires loose and drift. That's all I need.
