Update Speculation thread

i doubt the devs would spread mis-information as a prank. as he said before, hes not a mean person that likes to play with us. the devs wanna make their community happy, not troll them for no reason.

 

So... We might either get the update that week (if we are optimistic) or next week ?
Doesn't seem too long to me.

 

my guess would be this friday. the devs probably just said "as soon as next week" because they wanted to avoid hype/not be held to a date.

 

And it's about that time too. tdev said on February 2nd "1-2 months", so hopefully it does drop soon, at least before April is over.

 

I'm not that mad*, I think someone said that tdev would be mad.

And I think he didn't give any specific dates, If I remember correctly, he said "a week or two" to avoid what happened.

 

I don't know for sure the first line Tdev said, but I do know he said almost exactly "The update is not ready yet, it will take at least another week." So within the next 1-2 Weeks from now probably.

 

he said rude, i know that for a fact. everyone was like "hes probably just watching us freak out while his mouse hovers over the update button" i mean, i even started writing a story where gabe and tdev were yelling at eachother becuase the update had been ready for a month and tdev was just enjoying the drama. he was responding to that crap

and im 90% sure he did not say "or two"

question @tdev will the new update break the mod maps?

 

He already said it would be compatible with other maps, like the power train system was compatible with older mods

 

Don't think about when the update is. Just forget about it and it will come before you know it.

I'm hoping for new vehicle sounds. Tired of trying to find sound mods for everything. I think theres gonna be SOME sound updates, but likely no engine sounds. kinda weird driving a flat 4 SBR4 to the tune of an LS3 lol.

 

maybe the cake is a lie branch is just a version that is made up of nothing but dated memes/refrences... only time will tell

 

I think that the cake is a lie branch is just the same as we have already because the build number of it is the same as the public branch only the q&a branch has a higher build number
