    Three "Compact" American cars that have captured the heart of (almost) everybody.

    thY6MKB5PC.jpg
    1975-1979 Bruckell Sunshine/Solaris
    // AMC Pacer

    th18F39N3X.jpg
    1970-1979 Bruckell Hobbit
    //AMC Gremlin

    800px-AMC_Spirit_DL_two-tone_liftback_NC.jpg
    1979-1983 Bruckell Manhattan
    // AMC Spirit

    The Hobbit comes with either a 4-Speed Manual or a 3-Speed Automatic Gearbox and a range of engines:

    A Imported 121 Cui I4 /81HP (1977, Bought from ETK)
    A "Economic" 232 Cui I6 /91HP
    A "Medium" 258 Cui I6 /112HP
    A "Sporty" 403 Cui V8 /122 HP

    The Hobbit was a affordable yet fun to drive compact car that Bruckell tried to market towards young people living in crowded cities,
    giving them a car that would be easy to navigate through narrow city streets whilst delivering a maximum amount of utility for the size. The Car was a medium success but car magazines rated its I6 engines as underpowered and sluggish whilst the young people liked it due to lower fuel consumption and reliability. In 1979 Bruckell Replaced the Hobbit with the Manhattan.

    -----

    The comfortable Solaris will have a 5-Speed Manual and a 3-Speed Automatic Gearbox and following engines:

    A "Economic" 232 Cui I6 /94HP
    A "Medium" 258 Cui I6 /121HP
    A "Sporty" 403 Cui V8 /132 HP

    Based on the Hobbit Bruckell Produced the Solaris from 1975-1979, it shared the engines with its cheaper brother but had an new Italian designed body. Inspired by the equally crowded even narrower European Cities the Italian designers gave the Solaris exceptionally large windows a giant curved Windshield and back window. Marketed at young people and small families the Solaris really let the sunshine in, and gave a great view of the cars surroundings. Whilst the passengers could look around and observe their surroundings as never before the driver had an unsurpassed view of the road and traffic greatly improving the Solaris' security.
    Still it was a sort of shopkeeper. It had its fans but many families chose a larger Station wagon or full-size sedan instead resulting in a low volume of sales. Today its a rare collectible and has fans all over the world.

    -----

    The Manhattan, the most performant of the bunch will sport a 4/5-Speed Manual and a 3-Speed Automatic Gearbox and a great engine variety:

    A Imported 121 Cui I4 /81HP (1977, Bought from ETK for the Hobbit)
    A "Small" 151 Cui I4 /85HP (Gavril Iron Pig I4)
    A "Economic" 232 Cui I6 /95HP
    A "Medium" 258 Cui I6 /115HP
    A "Sporty" 403 Cui V8 /128 HP
    A "Performant" 195 Cui V6 /193 HP //Supercharged

    Initially intended as a Liftback version of the Hobbit the Manhattan was presented as a successor on the Utah Auto Show in 1978.
    It shared the market and the platform with its predecessor and kept the price tag low learning from the Solaris mistake,
    With a an updated body design and a new suspension the Manhattan was an instant success as it more nimble and agile than the solid Hobbit. Driven forward by the great response on the Auto Show Bruckell focused on the Manhattan and started a new performance oriented line of Cars to compete with Ibishu's GTz line. The new Manhattan BPM (Bruckell Performance Model) name resembled two other Abbreviations one being BPM as Beats per minute, or RPM (Revolutions per minute) the performance line implied a high pace, speed and adrenaline and a responsive engine only in its name. It came with a 195Cui / 3.2L Supercharged V6 that delivered the Performance the aggressive looking little car promised. Also the Manhattan BPM that came in a Black/Orange "BPM" or a White/Black/Orange "Speed Stripes Livery" easily dominated the Ibishu Top of the line GTz on the Hirochi Speedway for its entire production run. Selling a lot of cars in 1979-81 the sales plummeted in 82 as the market was saturated. With too little changes to give happy owners of the hobbit that has proven to be the most reliable vehicle on the road a reason to replace their old car and a to high pricetag to buy the BPM Variant the Manhattans procudtion ended in 1983

    Youre right, Pacers had many flaws. But they're unique and quirky cars and you fall in love with them after you've driven one

    Pacers are awesome So are Gremlins and Spirits. Small cars with huge engines :p

    I think the game should have an old crappy soviet car. It would be so satisfying to smash.

    I give up on making forums.
    I'll suggest the 2015 Kia Venga without using it's logo.

    I've always wanted a newer prelude in the game, but I think the 200bx is the closest we will get :(, but I'm fine with that because the 200BX is a pretty good sports car.
