We've been spoiled by big releases recently and people seem to have forgotten that it doesn't normally go that way. It went 0.5.0, 0.5.1, 0.5.2, .3, .4, .5, .6, then 0.6.0, 0.6.1, then we suddely got 0.7.0 and 0.8.0 right next to each other when they introduced big campaign features. 0.8.1 is a perfectly normal release, it's just taking longer because of bugs.

Don't worry. I have no doubt that there'll be a V8 Hopper mod someday.

There is the possibility of someone doing an authentic V8 model for it. Maybe engine swaps from the D-Series for example?

It might not fit, the engine is pretty big.

if it can fit a 4 liter i6, it can fit a decent v8, just put 2 i4s in side by side. it'll fit.

On the basis of fitting engines in the Hopper, it should theoretically be able to have a V12 because it can fit a straight 6. In practice you can't though, all the tanks and intakes and sensors wouldn't fit very well... :(

yeah that's what he means with VR8 volkswagen did the same with lots of there cars where they put VR6 engines in cars that were build for 4 cylinders therefore the gradience of banks was very tight like 20 degree or something so they only needed on1 cylinder head cover a nice example of this was the volkswagen corrado mister regular also talked about this
