honestly. boring. Its a challenger with a collosal supercharger, factory trans brake and stripped interior. No interest here
Overhyped garbage, case closed. I'm more excited for the new Supra. Now when is Chrysler gonna bring back the Valiant Charger?!
My inner 12 year old died a decade or so ago. Stock wheelies it can't do. It requires parts that come sold with the car but not fitted
Stock refers to factory equipment that's on the car. Drag wheels are not on the car. Therefore. It's not a stock Wheely. Not that a Wheely is a useful thing. Nope no interest in that car.
I think the fact that you can do a wheelie from the factory (with a little race fuel and slicks) is absolutely mind-boggling; especially in a street legal production car. Mad respect for Dodge for creating such an insane machine.
the drag wheels arent optional extras. They come in an entirely seperate crate. You want to do a wheely, you have to remove the cars wheels, put drag wheels on front and back (not street legal) and put race fuel in it. Its not a street car doing a wheely at that point, its a drag car doing a wheely.
Just went and watched a few vids of it, even less impressed. Its wheelie, is a mere inch or 2 of ground clearance and sustained for 2 and a half feet. Its wheelie has been achieved by putting the removed front wheels in the boot, the simply drag skinnies on their own are still too heavy for all that torque to lift. It can still only sustain this on a drag prepared surface. Also the math has been done. That 1.8g claim dodge make, total bullshit when you run the numbers, though thats not to say that the tyres arent capable of holding that, just the car cannot do that.
It's a jokingly used figure of expression, as the cars are seen as extremely manly, and people often joke that cars like these are bought to compensate for one's low virility.
