Can you do something about the incredibly bright brake light? It's actually distracting when you're driving lol!

Edit: Maybe this is a Beamng 0.9 thing, it is exactly the same as the original. How have I not noticed it before?

Really? Just renamed it to HellHopper? When its Hell Jeep. Much clickbait.

 

I think its kinda rude to take mythbusters jeep and rename it so you can add it to the repo. But that might just be me.

 

You guys do realize that he already made a re-released version of the HellJeep (with Mythbuster's permission) right? This one is just on the repository.

 

Yeah thats why changing the name just for the repo seems rude, he already released it why release it again?

 

It's easier to find stuff on the repo.

 

@Mythbuster gave me permission to upload the mod to the mods page. He was glad that i was updating the mod to the current version. I am not "ripping off mythbuster". To get the mod on the mods page i had to rename "Jeep" to "Hopper" as @synsol suggested.So stop the whining....please

Wasn't whining, sure my post appears that way. I just think its dumb that you renamed it to Hell Hopper. It was my opinion, I just thought it was dumb, and yes I know this mod has been re-released, I've had it before. Just IMO I think adding hopper is dumb. Sure you added it to be allowed on the repo. I was only stating my Opinion. Thank you.

 

My opinion also doesn't change , I did read the mod page and saw you mention you had permission for the rename but I still feel the same about the subject. I respect that you( @CaptanW ) put effort into fixing up some older mods I just feel that this is a bit(dare I say) attention seeker-ish. Everyone knew about the refreshed mod and everyone who wanted it would have had it. That being said I still enjoy the mod and will use it, none of this was personally nor do I feel you are an attention seeker it just appears that way at first. Hopefully this doesn't put you off refreshing old mods in the future.

I am agreeing on the clickbait. I really like that this mod was brought back. but when it says hopper in the title, i was expecting a hopper. Maybe something mad max like, or just the hell jeep stuff grafted onto the hopper. Still, this is great and im glad the helljeep is a thing again.

Fun little fact for you. This would actually be a Ford. Ford and Willy's both made "Jeeps" because willy's won the contract to make the utility vehicles for the military but didn't have the ability to make enough so Ford ended up helping. While Willy's designed the wire grate style grille that is rarely seen or remembered Ford thought it would be much quicker and cheaper to use a single piece of stamped metal for the grill and that's where the origin of the iconic Jeep grille came from. Ford's grille had 9 vertical slots and when the war was over Willy's got the rights to the vehicles but couldn't use Ford's grille so they kept the idea and just used 7 vertical slots. This mod has the Ford style grille, therefor this is a Ford.
