Hopper Conspiracy Theory

Hey guys, I just want to say, we missed something in 0.9. The devs gave us the most hints about when the update was coming, yet we failed to see most of them. First, we knew exactly when the update was going to come out because of the name of the update's most anticipated feature. The Ibishu Hopper.

Everyone, the word "Hopper" is a hint in itself. Most people associate hopping with some sort of rodent usually referred to as a rabbit. The previous update (0.8) was released right before Christmas, a well known holiday, so it should make sense that the devs would release 0.9 on a holiday, too. The next "major" holiday after Christmas is Easter. Easter is normally associated with eggs and rabbits (I still don't understand why), but rabbits can also be linked to the Hopper. Gabester even said: "It hops!" solidifying the fact that the devs were dropping hits about the release date. It makes sense that the devs released the Hopper on the Friday before Easter weekend because rabbits Hop(per).

 

I personally think is was a coincidence.
