The problem is that BMW never should have built it. Any small MPV with an inline 6 and RWD is just retarded from a packaging standpoint.

By most reviews its supposedly a very good small family car. Its different from what they normally do but if its a good product then what does it really matter.

    For example: https://www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/bmw/2-series-active-tourer/

Isn't that every car? A Toyota Camry can pull a small camper, and be used as a regular car.

That's why I used the term small MPV, most of them are pretty much hatchbacks with higher body and more practicality.

    Here are some popular MPV's

    Citroen Xsara Picasso

    Ford Galaxy

    Citroen C4 Grand Picasso

    Citroen C3 Picasso

In the UK we tend to class these as minivans

However when fitted with seats they tend to be called minibuses. If you were to call the Galaxy or C4 Grand a minivan people wouldn't question it though, some people do call them minivans. But they are more typically referred to as MPV's

Why not a small turbo i4? BMW already makes those and i3s are the stupidest engine.

    Presumably its a cheaper model?

    Apparently its got enough power.
Not that I would exactly recommend someone buy a 3cyl in a car of that size, since its gonna be under more stress than a 4cyl.

Yes, absolutely. I was just showing a mix of different MPV's so the yanks generally know what people are talking about when they mention MPV.
The Ford Galaxy was mainly thrown in because I don't think they either make or call them that over in the US. Since Ford name their cars in confusing ways:
    Ford Mondeo (pronounced Mon-Day-O)
    Ford Fusion (USA)
    Ford Fusion (UK)

It's muted for a second cause my passenger made a bunch of weird noises.

By the time my video is edited and uploaded the quality is just absolute shit.
And for the record I wasn't driving the wrong way. It's 2 way in the morning and one way in the afternoon.

hmmm, just been on the internet and the more I am on the more I see americans moaning about lack of power in some cars, like a big car say a jeep they call it a lemon for coming with a 2.4 litre engine making 170hp, like that's plenty power here in the UK (and probably most of Europe) with some the similar size having small low power diesels (120hp). then on small cars they don't go below 100hp, when quite a lot of UK Cars have less than 90hp (I know some with 60hp) but no one complains...
Is it the road layouts? like is it something to do with the highway systems and merging (like in the UK you always go downhill on the sliproad to join the motorway)

It isn't just about power ratings. Our cars tend to be a bit bigger and heavier, while european cars tend to be smaller and lighter.
But if I had to guess I'd say it has to do with our roads. We have a lot more space to really wind a car out. And our culture of excess. We want more than just enough to perform daily car duties.
