One thing I don't get about my car is the gearing. I've got more than enough power everywhere in the rev range, but 6th gear starts at 45mph. That means cruising at 80mph I'm up near 3k, which is more than enough for a 4.6l v8. So then my highway MPG suffers. Seriously, on that stretch of road where I kept it near 80 I got about 22mpg. If I kept it towards 65 I got 26mpg.

The car has more than enough power, put 6th in at 55-60mph. Maybe they could've added a 7th gear but it is a 2011 and 7 speed autos weren't common.

6th gear is long though, and it will pull even if you hold it in 6th. Top speed is supposedly 155mph and I've seen video up to 140mph.

A 130hp, 3500lb car? That in and of itself sounds slow, but add a travel trailer? I'd estimate the 0-60 time of that combination somewhere around 15-20 seconds at full throttle, plus you probably won't be able to even go the speed limit on most windy roads because trailer flip.

The owner of this car threatened to sue me because I posted a pic of it on facebook, because she wants to unveil it at a car show. I think someone doesn't know how laws work.

Ugly as f^ck if you ask me.

I looked up the curb weight of the first two sedans that came to mind, the Ford Taurus and Dodge Charger. The Charger can actually weigh up to 4,500 lbs, probably with a 6.4.
I've gotten used to weird paint jobs, but those wheels, jesus that looks dumb.

I think I could tolerate the paint job, but those wheels are the some of the ugliest things I've ever seen.

    Should've seen the interior.
Rear seats have been replaced with speakers & more ugly "art work". Dash trim is all painted up like the exterior. Shifter is now a skull head.

Just overall a waste of a perfectly good Falcon. The owner is a total nutcase to say the least

You've gotta have an eye for used police cars.
And if you're getting them anywhere besides straight from the government you're a chump.

The Craig Lowndes edition Commodore wouldn't sell overseas, they'd have no idea who the hell he is.

I'd much rather see those wheels go up in a shower of sparks on a burnout car.

There's one on a 70mph road near here where it's just a T junction. Yes you can merge onto it with a car that has a 15-20 second 0-60. I've done it

I've done bad merges no problem with a 30+ second car. You just have to put a little more thought into it. No car is dangerous as long as you're willing to work with it's limitations.

The speed limit for towing in the UK is 60mph just like for lorries. Also you are not allowed into the fast lane while towing on motorways . Most motorways are sunken and/or tree lined to prevent cross winds, but there are few roads like the dual carridgeway towards Keswick area from the east that will require you to slow down on windy days.

The 0-60 is 10.2 seconds, with a trailer I would estimate that you are probably correct. But equally you don't tend to do 0-60 times while towing cause it's nice to have everything in the caravan where you put it at the start of the journey.

I doubt 130hp and total weight of 6000lbs is going to rearrange the contents of the caravan, unless you dump the clutch or power shift through the gears.

Well Yeah, that was kinda part of my point. It doesn't need to because that isn't really the end goal.

Here in europe you dont really need alot of horsepower espacially in the Citys because you hardly move in eush hour so a 60hp car is just as fast as a lamborghini and on the backroads youre only allowed to drive a 100kph also on the autobahn in germany you can rarly max out a car because theres always a caravan or horsebox on the overtaking lane and if there isnt one there we have a speed restriction to 120kph
