Oh yeah I forgot to show the source of that file when I was uploading it to the wiki. https://www.beamng.com/threads/update-speculation-thread.20246/page-179#post-553908 --- Post updated --- there is a possibility of them throwing a curveball between the development of the Bluebuck and the Wendover. I mean the Hopper was unexpected. I would actually love to have a car like the Fulmine in this game. Might make you feel bad about chucking it off a cliff. Who am I kidding i never feel bad about chucking cars like that Barstow off the cliff. This game turns you into a monster.
i've said it before and i'll say it again. DO NOT TALK ABOUT "THE LIST" WHATSOEVER! when people start talking about it, threads get locked. Gabester has been very clear in the past about this.
Still wondering why mitch doesn't post west coast pics? I mean i don't want to see too much, but at least some progress would be nice after 3 months.
The current new progress might just be menial work (like lods or roads) and not have any visible differences.
I think there might of been a few missing spaces on the map judging by that photo of that police station.
I began wonder, after seeing that improved water on Italy-progress (the water looks really nice), could devs invent something with water ? I've always wondered, that is it that hard to create dynamic water with physics and fluid motions ?
I think if they do the dynamic weather theyll do it all out with effect in tires and so on wich would be totally awesome!
I think BeamNG need a map of the the BeamNG office you can drive in the office and can look the BeamNG Team Live and the sound of the BeamNG team It's not fun but it's funny.
Sometimes I just think, how are they gonna be in the final release. Will they add ton of more details to the maps, since currently they feel somewhat empty and too clean. Also, propably they add some effect layers to have more details in the graphics.
They are kinda limited by the engine. The game is too unoptimized for its current fidelity. There are games that both run faster and look better. I think by the final release, this game will be nearly unrecognizable. The maps will be lush and the graphics will be delicious. But all of that can and will only happen once the game is optimized to the point where people like me are able to run the game on low with stable framerates. I'm not using a powerful rig by any standards, but I think most would agree that an i7 and a geforce 650 should at least have *okay* performance on low. Heck, I even get frame drops on lowest. The devs will get it done. They have plenty of time to work on graphics and performance, and if anything they've done so far is a sign, they have the talent to do so.
I also think that theyll change to dx12 or vulcan and until the game is fully out they may also have figured out how to make ai traffic and it hopefully will be alot better optimised
Let's hope for that. Currently, the game has pretty good details, when it comes to the car interiors and engine parts, but the textures and overall looks are not on the current day standards. But many of those things can be improved with pretty simple tricks, such as lightning, reflections, colour tones, but also, some of the textures definitely needs some improvements and perhaps those ''makeup'' layers, that they put into games nowadays. On graphical terms, the game is not that heavy, but most of the performance impact of course goes into the physics engine, so they can't improve the graphics, until the game's engine is way much more optimized to allow more room to other tasks.
