ok. I was just curious. Is there a way that i can turn that body into a breakable body? what software, if any, would i need to get?
Yeah, it's finally on World of Mods, too. I have to say I'm kinda proud of this...? I was feeling snubbed... --- Post updated --- Blender to break the shell in parts. As for the JBeam... It's not really a matter of "which software", but rather "how to write a proper JBeam with any software you might want to use".
I had that problem while making the track, but I was able to fix it after I figured out how these new terrain files work. Since it seems to work for everyone else, I don't really know how to fix that other than re downloading it or clearing the cache.
I got it fixed, and sense update .9 came out, does the monster jam branded trucks and human skin pack work still?
Alright so i get that the floating on water for this was intentional however it's a bit annoying when it floats and won't move in a puddle. Was mud bogging, so to speak on the ATE PLAYGROUNDS map and the floating part was actually causing issues such as not being able to move unless you let off the gas which would then move at 1mph. Flooring the gas would just cause it to overheat quickly and kill the engine. With that it was causing more a headache then fun. Ending with that, i give it a 4/5 Side note: Not sure why the letter font changed to big and bold.
well, before the beamng devs decided that having more water resistance would be the best thing in the world, the monster truck could actually move in the water rather decently. i sorta blame whoever did that change @tdev
We will be looking at the monster truck as a test case for improving the water physics. The tire triangles do not have any "angle of attack" when spinning in the water, so the only resistance or traction happens when the tire is dragged.
its quite easy to change that by simply lowering the drag/lift coef in the tire jbeam, I believe it's currently set to 100% drag and would probably be better off at somthing like 10 to 30%
which video was that gray one in? i never sent any of the older packs to anyone unless they were already public as per f2ys's request. anybody that has redistributed private material is doing so without the approval of f2ys and others.
I believe the "gray one" is Steer Clear. A few videos were uploaded before its removal. As for the "cop one", I don't know. I don't believe anyone's been redistributing private material though. They are most likely just custom skins for personal use.
As for tires, I'm currently looking into new options/parameters included in 0.9.0. None of them are currently set. Tires + working gauges (and that BTR-80 fix... ) are definitely high on my list of priorities for the next update.
so like the 'not goodyears' would be soft but bouncy for freestyle, the 'not firestones' would have deeper treads and be good at mudding, the 'not ukrianes' could act as a shaved down tire being very good on roads, but being very slippery on dirt or sand. and the 'not bkts' will be a general balance of them all. or some idea like that.
They are all in the optional pack and retain their actual brands. Goodyears are uncut, heavier... Likely the most suitable option for mudding (and car crushing ).
There are two latches now, one for each side. To get the hood to detach, both must break. That happens fairly frequently in head-on impacts. If only one of the supports fails, the hood will dangle unhinged on that side a bit. I have further improvements in mind, made possible by new features implemented in 0.9 (multi breakGroup support).
