Looks like that was the cause of the problem.
Anyway, really nice work. The fact that it has custom sounds now makes it even better :)

Just an idea but, how about sliding doors for the van?
    (maybe a diesel engine too?)

I tampered with sounds, don't hate me

I just am not very good at making loops, so it loops bad, but it is just a suggestion about what I think would be better pitch for the engine sound.

What I did was changes to sbeam and 50% increase in pitch of sample as in sbeam there are some hard limits, anything higher than 2.0 pitch is bugging out sound engine and anything above 1.0 sound volume is bugging out sound engine and not increasing volume, volume just plays at 1.0 level all the time instead of being modulated by throttle.

This mod is really awesome, just had to change sounds as they were way too low pitch for my liking, so I thought I share, you throw it out if it is not what you want or if you like you get ideas :)

It is not really good, it is just a proposition for those who make mod, sample is same as in mod, just 50% higher pitch and totally destroyed looping so it sounds kinda bad because it clicks so much at sustained rpm and especially can hear at high throttle, but if Rusty would do his magic and would like to make 50% higher pitch sample that sbeam would perhaps work as a base.

Besides it is their mod and if they don't want my tampering here I will of course remove it, I'm just a guy who loves sound of cars and if sound is off to my ear I have to change it, so I like to give changes back.

I made little video, it is bit quiet as my BeamNG seems to have volume only at 44% and driving is terribly bad, but to show how changes sound:

    Ohh, let me try that.
    1 minute later...
    It worked!
And one more thing. When I spawned one of the wagon it had no wheels.
Other than that great work on the mod! ;)

Thanks. Which wagon version spawns without wheels? Someone else also mentioned the missing wheels problem in one of the reviews. Is it one of the rotary turbo versions.? In that case, I may have chosen the wheels from some mod. :D

I spawned the luxe version of the wagon, but when I spawned a sedan that one had wheels.

That's weird. Every preset has wheels on my end. Was it the Rotary Wagon Deluxe preset that spawned without wheels? If it was, maybe some other mod conflicts with vanilla wheels and causes them to disappear from the list.

I spawned the stock luxe and I wanted a drift wagon so I put the rotary in it.

I can't replicate the problem. Maybe the download is somehow corrupted.
    --- Post updated ---
I tried the Satsuma again with my old Logitech Wingman Formula Force GP wheel and found a fix for the too light steering. The "FFBcoef" in front suspension jbeam should be as high as 11 to achieve the Miramar like force feedback. The steering linkage is similar to the T-series and it has "FFBcoef" of 2. Thats really weird.

Below is the new front suspension jbeam with fixed FFB and new front axle alignment and max steering angles from the '59 Datsun Owner's Manual. The '58 model uses the same values.Use the Reset and then Apply buttons in Tuning tab to use the new toe settings.

I'll add the wheels with 1.5 degrees of positive camber in the next update.

Actually that steering multiplayer thing makes sense, you have more weight on front tires on T-series, contact patch is also larger, so that adds to resistance of steering, of course steering arm length comes to play too, which I have no idea how it translates in BeamNG to force multiplier, but I would think difference in mass is at play in there.

You're right, it's probably the difference in mass. By the way, the sound file you posted is very good. I tested it with my headphones. I can try to adjust the volume and looping when my new quality speakers ordered from Germany arrive. My current integral speakers in the display are so crappy and have so little bass that I have to nearly max out the volume to hear the Satsuma engine sound at all.

New wheels, tires and hubcaps are coming in the next update. I got frustrated when the offset of original hubcaps was so hard to change, so I decided to make my own parts.:D
The wheel size is now 3.50x15" with 6x5,5" bolt circle and 5.60-15" tires are replaced with 5.50-15" ones. Both tires use the same wheels, according to the owner's manual. The tires have new tread pattern textured after the classic Firestone bias-ply tires and all parts have correct dimensions.

I think i already mentioned the sound issue in a review and it was posted here before too, but the car still has a idle sound when the engine is off. also its a superb railcar. with the track witdth up one or two notches it perfectly fits into the gauge of track in sultans peak. (like a PRT guideway vehicle. and the turbo variants stay in the track too, so maybe make a Ram for it or something.)

Yes, I remember the sound issue. I can hear the idle sound when engine is off too with my new speakers. It will be fixed in the next update. I'm planning to add some demolition derby parts when the different bodies are done.
