Nice! What model? In other news I have five GPUs coming in the mail after I went on an Ebay spree. Getting a 7850 for $37 shipped was hard to pass up!
Hey, was wrong last time I told you it was a 7975 but it's a 7950 vapor-x. The 3 go one. It can't be worst than what I got actually.
My budget is around +-$100, sadly the mod mic isnt avaliable in my country.. (Asia) I actually saw that model of headphones few days ago, is there any difference between Ath-m20x, m30x, m40x, and m50x?
https://www.reevoo.com/p/hp-g70-213em This is my dad's old laptop, and I'm wondering how Windows 10 would run on this. I have run Windows 10 on a Core 2 Duo laptop before, although it was a higher end one. Not that I'd be able to use it, as he uses it to make album artwork. It's still better than my laptop which came out 6 years later...
It'll run ten fine, maybe add an SSD to give it a bit of a boost and replace the 1GB stick of memory for a 2GB stick and it'll run it even better.
Idk if it has DDR3 or 2, because I'd happily add the 2gb ddr3 from my crap laptop with 6gb ram. That other c2d laptop I mentioned has ddr3
Yeah, but the laptop is from like 2009 so the actual spec sheet is gone from the hp website so I don't exactly know.
*sigh* I guess I am thinking of getting a new laptop, a clevo of course but I aint too sure since if I sell my main rig and get a laptop with beefy internals those internals will not be able to change... Like I would get an external GPU addition (plugs into your Wi-Fi Mini PCIE slot) but with the most powerful of my laptops being an 11year old Core 2 Duo @2GHZ it isn't a good option. Like also the convenience is needed, like I don't have a USB 3.0 laptop even my Baytrail tablet has a USB 2.0 slot (idk why since there is the xHCI controller in device manager) and so copying is slow, also using an 11year old HDD with millions of reallocated sectors isn't the greatest ideas, and unfortunately the GPU is unsupported in Win 10 (ATi Radeon X1600), the poor laptop is in a bad state, with a cracked screen and a battery that plain and simple doesn't work properly (with GPU load it cuts out) , the GPU isn't all that great anyway, it struggles with YouTube videos too, it is really sad to see it sat under my bed collecting dust. My sister is getting a Clevo N850HN laptop (base specs) (i3 7100H+GT-940MX GDDR5) , I think it will be good but its lacking in GPU performance (and really if I had the choice I would go with the quad core i5) So if I get rid of my main PC (i5 4690K + GTX960) and my MacBook Air 2010 (held value amazing) then I would be able to get a decent laptop, maybe if I saved up I could get a GTX 1070 but I really want an AMD GPU (going to get freesync monitor) Lets hope the AMD Gods come up with a nice AMD APU (with 4 ZEN cores) and maybe a VEGA GPU or polaris 10 but at a decent clock.
The mini PCIe gpu expander won't do what you want, mini PCIe is only single lane, nvidia and AMD drivers don't support hardware acceleration in single lane, it simply becomes a source of extra display outputs
ahh ok, yeah i knew there was gonna be a catch, i think i will hang onto my gaming PC for longer, but when my CPU is no longer powerful enough (maybe in 3-5yrs) i will jump ship to whatever AMD offers (if Intel doesnt drop their prices) and get a Mini ITX motherboard, then at least moving it wont be as bad (maybe i could attach a screen to it and run it as a "laptop" with no battery
If you're set on laptop with external GPU, get one with thunderbolt 3, that's quad lane PCIe and can run a graphics card. PCIe 3.0 at that too whereas most minipcie slots are 2.0
yeah, shame that most thunderbolt laptops are really expensive, like surely it isn't that costly to implement, but I guess it probably is because we would see more of it on new machines
*sigh* my little ray of sunshine has been spoiled, I had a SiS laptop, I put win10 on it and it magically worked!! there is some artificating but you just have to cycle through the projection modes (or press the projection button on the laptop that magically fixes everything somehow) then I upgraded to creators update, now it doesn't work, you install the driver and it bluescreens, that is once the thing has installed, windows is continually thrashing the disk and so it is very slow
Is there a way to convert a json to a video file. a relative claims they recorded a video and the recorder saved it as a json.
