none look that great imo. why not go for a more vibrant design along the lines of Nitro Circus or Virginia Giant as inspirations?

Yeah, it's just a loose idea right now. Thanks though! Making up for my own lack of creativity by trying to base a scheme around something, in this case, a logo. Nitro Circus or Virginia Giant would be pretty cool, just need to somehow differentiate it to avoid copyrights if we want to try for the repo with it. Edit: Kinda like this (Pastrana's lawyers are salivating): I personally use GIMP to make my stuff, there's a couple templates floating around that you can use for scheme making. (One I did is available here)

Just a heads up, the glare on the windshield is completely normal. I personally like it, because it gives an extremely realistic look. Didn't know if you knew.
Not in the repository release. No registered trademarks are allowed. I knew, I made it that way on purpose. Lexan isn't exactly the best for visibility, but the final effect in game is admitedly rather obnoxious. It's being toned down a bit on the inside only.
I like the 2nd one, but I think the pattern doesn't fit too well with monster trucks, but just because I don't use it don't mean you should throw it away.
It's the BeamNG Stadium made by @AaronL. Only his doesnt have the cars in the picture. I added those myself using his technique of ripping out everything that's not essential to the shell/structure of the crushable cars to save on frame rates.
I have a perfect, exact, complete replica skin for that, completely simulating the tracks and giving it a van body. Just kidding!
I could have sworn that the Oilex logo had more than one colour ... Turns out that I'm wrong: I like the first livery the best, but I'd add more lines until the blank spaces on the bed around the rear fender were completely filled. If you're interested, you could also try out the more 3D version of the Oilex logo just to see how it looks:
