The physics don't look like my cup of tea. I am totally down with arcade physics, I love the Midnight Club series, Project Gotham etc. This just doesn't tickle my fancy. Something just doesn't look right to me. Maybe it would feel really nice if I get hands on with it, but even in that case I already have Dirt Rally and DiRT and this looks like a hybrid of those. I guess if I was going to play a Rally game I would rather play Dirt Rally, Richard Burns rally or Sega Rally (seems to be refereed to as Sega Rally Revo online, doesn't say that on the box though). On that note, I never knew that the Sega Rally reboot for the Xbox 360 generation was such a big flop, I really enjoyed that game. Skip to 6:14 for gameplay: Still too hot for me to function productively. Probably gonna need to clean out my computer to keep it running happily in temps like this.
It was so hot today that my phone instantly started overheating when I was in the sun, not good, because I'm at a music festival and I really need to save battery. It seems to drain when it's hot. Still got REALLY nice battery, as usual with this phone. That picture was some time ago, I bet it will last for about 6 hours before going to about 10%. I took that screenshot when it was at 40%.
Well, here it happened in reverse. It used to be around 26c a few days ago and now its around 4-7c... fml it's the middle of May and I need a jacket.
Google has decided that Opera 45 (which I finally updated to a few days ago) and 46 beta should have their old layout from 10 years ago. I searched on their forums why and no one has a reason yet so I'm stuck with staring at Google's old, hideous page.
It's a little faster than those two and I prefer the interface on it over other browsers even though the interface on 45 isn't my favorite (44 is). Not sure on Mac though, but I have it as a backup for Safari.
Google does that as a fallback in case you are using a browser that it thinks is not capable of rendering Google properly, so its almost exclusively for older versions of ie. For some reason the new version of Opera is not recognised by them as a modern browser. Presumably google keep a list of user agents that are approved and need to update it, maybe a major change in the Opera user agent caused it.
Random photo I took with my Nexus 5, not sure how I got it to focus this well but it somehow did. It's got a filter on it as well I think to tone down some of the lighter areas.
Just tried to install linux on a random desktop, and for some reason it was showing my wireless network 10 times!
Anyone interested in aircraft, this is kinda cool, John Travolta is donating his Qantas 707 to the Historic Aircraft Restoration Society at my local airport. http://www.illawarramercury.com.au/...his-boeing-707-to-hars-in-albion-park/?cs=298
