I'm not sure if this counts in this thread, but I thought that I should be posting some of my LEGO models that I make of BeamNG.drive vehicles. First up: the 1989-1993 ETK 2400. Here are the pictures: The front, in all its boxy glory. The rear. One of the best rears I've ever made for any car. The side. Front again. Note the Euro-style license plate. Rear, showing off its plate and the maaaaaaad exhaust fitment (not). What's in the hood? A functioning, 2.4-liter straight-six, that's what. Oh, and it has doors. Two doors... ...and two (ish) more doors. The dashboard and front seats. The dashboard again, this time with the handbrake and shifter. The rear seats. What's in the trunk? LOADS of space! Trunk and hood both open. If you guys wish to suggest another BeamNG vehicle, let me know. However, PLEASE tell me what color(s) you want it in, and what size you want it in, so that I know if it is (or isn't) possible.
Thanks! As for the Burnside, what scale do you want it to be in? I don't really have that much light blue, but if you want me to do it in 4-wide or 5-wide, I think it maaaay be possible in real bricks. Thanks! I also have an interest in building the SBR4, but I'm not sure if I would want to build one. It looks highly complicated, both externally, and internally. What scale do you want me to build it in? I've built one before, but it was only 4-wide. https://www.flickr.com/photos/139280935@N08/28066034300/in/album-72157667738280774/
The scale you built the I series in. Hopefully you have a lot of hinges, as angled plates are your best bet.
Hmmmm...I think that may be a possibility. I'm not sure how I'll do the rear-mounted flat-four, but it could be possible. Most likely, I'll have to make it in red or yellow or something like that, so that I can have enough parts to make it. EDIT: I was internally screaming when I looked at the SBR4 on BeamNG compared to the I-Series. I don't think I've ever seen a more challenging car to build with the functions that I want to include on this game EVER....even the K-Series doesn't look that hard compared to this. But I will try my hardest to make the SBR4 as detailed as possible (most likely to be a lower-end variant like the RWD S or RWD Base, possibly a RWD TT S if I can fit the turbos).
Thanks! Hmm...doesn't look like much so far...but I'd be interested to see where this all goes. By the way, this is far from the ONLY BeamNG.drive LEGO car that I've made. Oh, no. Here are just a few of the other cars that I've made: Ibishu Pigeon (7-wide): https://www.flickr.com/photos/139280935@N08/29785968704/in/album-72157663303807741/ Ibishu Covet: (8-wide): https://www.flickr.com/photos/139280935@N08/30372286825/in/album-72157663303807741/ Burnside Special (5-wide): https://www.flickr.com/photos/139280935@N08/28207692540/in/dateposted-public/ My cars from 4-Wide Week #3: https://www.flickr.com/photos/139280935@N08/28168918310/in/dateposted-public/ Another Pigeon (5-wide): https://www.flickr.com/photos/139280935@N08/25518392384/in/dateposted-public/
Your john marshmallow! I saw your stuff before I want to try make your covet in real life but in rainbow colors cause I don't have much skill at finding legos in a bin.....(I hate when your looking for that one piece you know you have but you can find it....)
Alright, good luck with that! Yes, yes I am John Marshmallow (although that is a purely fictitious name). @Srockzz and @WalrusVersionofCRAZYRACER: Well, I hope that both of you get better at this. Now, for my current status on the SBR4: It's not going well. I'm trying to get the flat-four engine to work, but I can't seem to get it linked up to both rear wheels. I'll try to see what I can do, though...
That is one awesome little Lego car. I'd suggest doing the Burnside next- I think it'd look neat in dark red with a white roof.
I don't have enough red in real life to make that, but I do have an idea for possibly making a rusty, flame-covered rat rod ute custom in real bricks, and a standard version in LDD/BlueRender. Nice job! Now, for the status on my SBR4: Totally re-worked the rear end of it today, and I'm wondering how close I got to the original. Here's the pics: --- Post updated --- More work on the SBR4, and a new rear-end design.
WOW i thought this thread was going to be some car that had no resemblance to the beamng car but that......is VERY COOL! You should try to sell it but before make plans to make it again (one for your self) because i bet someone would buy it. Keep it up!
