Harambe is the worst meme. It's offensive, spawns racist jokes, and is morbid.

A real kick in this forum's guts:
RWD sucks except in sports cars.
I will explain if you are interested why.

I prefer AWD, too. RWD is hard to control and is bad in snow/mud/sand. With AWD and FWD cars, everything is simple: don't go too fast through corners and you'll remain on the road. Staying on the road in a RWD car is much harder especially if you are a novice driver or the road is slippery/unpaved. RWD cars perform significantly worse off-road than FWD, let alone AWD ones. I'm not talking about hardcore offroading, just these moments when your street wasn't cleaned from snow or when you go fishing or for a walk in the woods.

    You're not the only one...
Is it just me that thinks the Mitsubishi Starion Widebody is one of the best-looking z-cars of the 80s. I know it's rwd but I think it's awesome

    Here's my unpopular opinions:

    I think that....
*The SBR4 is a beautiful car, even though many people think that it's ugly. It's something that (in my opinion) could work extremely well in real life.
*The '96 Pessima is better than its '88 counterpart, even though the '96 has less power. However, how it delivers that power is crucial, as the 2.7L V6 has practically no lag to worry about out of turns.
*The base Moonhawk is better than the V8 variants, as its torquey inline-six is just enough power for me. It feels absolutely wonderful to drive in the dirt, and it's certainly not all that slow considering what it is (110 miles per hour is actually quite decent).
*The Covet is an entertaining car to listen to.
*The Industrial Racetrack is more fun to race around than Hirochi, especially in the Perimeter layout in reverse.
*Any one of the off-roaders (Hopper/Gavrils) are better at off-roading with inline-six engines than V8s (explanation here: https://www.beamng.com/threads/ibishu-hopper.32377/page-30).

    Turbos make cars boring.

This might seem crazy, but one of the most important things in a car is throttle response. When you have any kind of turbo lag (worse lag happens with bigger turbos) throttle response suffers severely, which makes the throttle pedal feel like a wet sponge when you press it down.

IMO the most fun can be had with naturally aspirated or supercharged engines, as throttle response is pretty much instant. This gives you much more precise control of the car and therefore much more satisfaction in driving :) (not to mention, as much as I love turbo flutter/blowoff sounds, that whistle is fucking annoying as hell)

This is also what I don't like about the new Type Rs and BMW M cars having turbo engines. These are pure sports cars, made for driving pleasure above all else. Why would you turn a wonderful high revving NA engine into an unresponsive mess of turbo lag and uncertain throttle response?

Yeah, but when the turbo does kick in it's a blast. My wagon is a turbo and I've never really noticed the whistle or the turbo lag. The only time there's bad turbo lag is in first when I'm crawling along at 5 mph. Other wise it's still pretty smooth.
Of course, I've never driven a car with a massive turbo that has 500+ HP, but from my experience with stock sports cars turbos usually don't hurt throttle response that badly.

Turbo lag is usually not noticeable in the typical "Press throttle, wait 5 hours for power to come" way, but most times it tends to make the throttle less "sharp" in a way. Turbos can be massive fun on a straight, but they tend to hinder cornering performance (managing slip angles and powering out of a corner immediately becomes difficult)

You're right, throttle response isn't terribly hurt by stock turbos as they tend to be small and offer low resistance, but even that tiny difference in throttle response is enough to ruin it for me :p

    I love the MD-80.
I think that the 996 911 is one of the best looking cars.
    That's all, actually. (for now.)
