I can't get it off the ground. I have the takeoff flaps on, hit 125, try to take off and nosedive when I get a few feet off the ground before I can even pull in the gear. Am I missing something? EDIT: I kept stalling because I was pressing continuously, nvm But this seems way too hard to fly on a keyboard.
If you use keyboard, try to only tap the keys. You probably stall the elevators and crash. But I will look into the problem and try to make it easier for keyboard users
This problem happens when someone raises his (up) elevators as much as possible then he nose dives, that causes an unrecoverable stall. The problem might be caused by the gears as well. Some people forget to put their gears back to the carriage which causes the plane to go down due to drag.
Maybe you could include an "easy mode" that makes the plane easier to fly? --- Post updated --- I can't keep it in the air long enough to bring up the gears, even when I'm not stalling XD Maybe I just suck at flying
Thanks for the information, please understand that the plane is a lot more sensitive to control inputs after the update as all control surfaces have a stall value and loose all lift after the stall. The elevator creates lots of downforce to keep the the plane level, so when you pull to hard the tail is stalling and you are going to crash the plane
As I said, you probably climb too hard. I might make a video about how to take off later. For now try do the following things : - Be sure to have the take off flaps - Don't climb too hard - For the gears, I suggest pressing N before climbing by 2 - 2.5 seconds so the gear links can raise.
I can't even get the propeller to turn, I have no sound and the gearbox is set to realistic(is that right?)... help (I have cleared the cache)
