I had a 4.3 in a 94 Blazer.. this Engine performance is beyond the stock performance... these didn't make alot of power but they got the job done... i put 86,000 miles on a my 94 blazer.. bought it with 98k so it has about 184,000 miles ish approx. i still have it.. been sitting since 2003.. nothing wrong with it.. just a back up if i need it... i start it for 45 minutes once a month and keept battery charged and check fluids but it sits....
but my main concern was the performance in this mod... i made an exact torque curve engine adjustment to it so it performs like a Real 4.3 in a 4,000lb+ truck.. of the time erra. main thing is to match the chevys rear gearing it used in fullness chevy pickups... its also a good engine choice that works with the roamer as well...

I had someone help me with this one because it was my first engine mod and he said he found some torque curve for this motor I can't find an actual curve so if you want to share yours with me I will definitely change it

well stock ratings at the crank was 165hp and 235lb-ft torque.... but at the tire which i think is were the game might measure that.. still not sure if the game takes away drive-train loss.. butt if so imagine 129hp and 186lb-ft of torque to the wheel since i think the game sends the power to the wheels with no loss.. but i may be wrong unless a dev @tdev can shed light on this

I don't think there is any drivetrain lose in-game

Since there's a dyno coming someday. the concept of power loss does exist or maybe it doesn't yet.. since usable power is at the wheels.... @tdev knows about the dyno... but im not sure if the dyno will read the power loss or just use the torque curves settings... doubt that since its a dyno... i think power loss at transmission and rear tires is a thing coming soon because "Dyno" measures HP at wheel not crank as we all know how a dyno works in real life.

Also look up XJ jeeps the power loss from crank is alot also...

actually, I think there is power loss since I'm making a Honeywell turbine motor that is in the Abrams that make like 5k torque but in game only makes like 3.5k from the torque curve app yet the file says 5k. And I think I might keep it since there is power loss and the engine mod is to be at the crank and its just a mod a little extra power doesn't hurt anybody and acceleration is accurate to my truck in real life.

in notice playing with the friction setting by raising it reduces power... maybe this is the implementation.. but the oil runs hotter with higher friction unless u have a good oil cooler which makes me think this may have nothing to do with drive-line loss...friction seems to simulate the crank and oil and combustion friction if that exist yet..... there's a lot more features in game then we know of i would like to believe... this games engine is amazing.. i believe nothing will be at its limits because the "Dev's" know what they want in a game and there pushing epic updates to make the engines more realistic....
cant wait till cylinders and engine size and heads and valve sizes come one day to simulate real power with bore+stroke settings and a realistic fully adjustable carburetor along with fuel injection so we can calculate are sir fuel ratio and possible when that day comes a mass air flow sensor and throttle position sensor... this game with destroy all over games i can just see it!....and simple ECU/ECM for vehicles and and adjustable distributor and odds and ends

I'm fine how it is right now but I mean making a engine mod or transmission mode only takes a few numbers and the engine makes it all works it's pretty amazing for very little code

Very excited to try out this mod! The 4.3L V6 is one of my favorite engines. Owned a 92 S10 with it and a GMC Syclone. The Syclone had 515hp and 588ft/lb with 20psi of boost, cams, a Lingenfelter throttle body, ported/polished heads and pistons. Was a very fun truck aside from being broke down all the time.

What if you could put it in the covet. The 4-cyl is good, but it would be cool to see it in the covet.

it's added just I didn't setup the intakes to work with them so you can use them but they won't be the best things, because stock power lights up the wheels. so whenever the update gets approved you may have fun!
