WIP Beta released Complete sound mod for all vehicles 1.2.1

Personal preference: I think the sound from a Subaru WRX is more fitting, but at the same time, the Sunburst does have an I4, not an H4. I see why you changed it, I just think it was more appropriate to have the Subaru sound. Like I said, personal preference/opinion.

 

Sorry for bumping this thread, but i think this work is amazing, and more people should get to see it.
And also, i wanted to see if you got a change to fix the d-series sound that is the only thing that bothers me a little. It's maybe too loud and it has like a stutter or something like that.

But apart from that i think this is by far, the best sound mod for this game.

This mod is great! There is one thing that really angers me, though. The covet is completely silent. What I would recommend is removing the Nissan Micra noise from the mod. Thanks!

The Covet is tested here with working sound on two different systems! Do you have any other mods that are affecting the covet? Try disabling all mods except mine to see if the sound returns.
If you want to remove the Micra sound, use the mods manager to unpack my mod, then go into the folder and delete the folder "hatch"

 

ETKC is the internal name for the K-series.

 

Update time!

I had a bit of free time today so I created the sounds for the new Hopper! The source audio is a 1991 Jeep Comanche. Not a perfect match body wise, but it has the 4.0 six cylinder engine which matches the in game one.

Here is a quick preview of it:


It will be live as soon as it gets approved!

On another note, I made a quick sound for the Bitron B2 car, i threw it together in about 10 minutes, I used the Citroen C2 as the source. If you like it ill continue work on it an upload as a separate mod!

Hi there, I like your mod, especially ETKs, mm I wanted to ask maybe you can look into my sound and probably enhance it a bit, i'm not into the audio edit, but I tried to make a "realistic" sound, like yours. Can you watch and say what's you thinking and what can be possibly done? You can take it if you like. Thx. I really enjoy to ride calmly, on 2-4k rev and my sound is quite fits that, but it's not anything close to perfect or even good, thus I really need someone help, pls . (don't get confused with mouse flying around, it's actually how I drive the car )

Sounds very good! I quite like it, keep working on it yourself too, it does take practice!
I cant fault it very much, if you want, send me on your files and the source audio (via Private Message) and I'll have a go at creating it and give you some help

 

Hey about the review I made for your soundpack. The new pessima does have a v6 variant and that might suit the vehicle better with the volvo sound.
Love the mod!

 

Can you make a better BOV sound, and also better terrain sounds
i mean like, how it sounds like when your driving in certain terrains

I really like your sound mod but i have a few suggestions, and things you can improve in it:
- The V8 in the Grand Marshall is too baffled.
- The Roamer has a 6 cylinder sound. While it's true that the Roamer has a 6cyl option, most will pick the V8, so it's makes more sense to put a V8 sound to it. (same with the D-Series)
- The SBR4 has a weird noise at idle. I think a Subaru WRX sound is the better fit here.
- The 200BX sounds like a sewing machine in low revs.
- The Barstow sounds good but if you stay on high revs for a while you can hear a turbo whistling, this car doesn't have a turbo (at least the one I was testing).
Overall it's a great mod and I'd love to see progress!
