Force feedback... Again

    Hi.
    I haven't driven BeamNG in a while, and decided to go for a spin this weekend.
    The wheel is detected as a force feedback device (the message comes up with "ffb controller detected, disabling other inputs" or something like that). I have set the force up a bit just to make sure I feel it, but there is nothing, the wheel is completely limp.

    The wheel is listed at the top of the list with id 0.

    What wheel is that? (Exact model)
    Drivers are correctly installed?
    All the cables too?

    It's an Open Sim Wheel (Direct Drive). The driver and firmware is from around christmas, and it works perfectly in other games. It's (correcty) detected as "MMOS Force Feedback Wheel" by the game.

    Those wheels currently do not have working FFB, and will not have until further notice.
    There appears to be some problems regarding that and we are currently looking into a solution.

    This bug is a needle in a haystack. We are sending to those steering wheels the exact same commands we are sending to the rest of steering wheels in the market. Yet OSW wheels always fail to respond.

    I'm dedicating a few non-contiguous days worth of bughunting to try to fix this issue.

    @atledreier thanks for the offer. First of all, could you please send a support report?

    With the help of several users, I was able to find a fix for the problem and test it on several differente devices. The next update will patch the FFB system so hopefully all your steering wheels will work :)

    Great news! Rock climbing is fun and brutal now! :) Sometimes you feel like you're lifting the entire weight of the car with your steering (and you are, really). 25Nm of holding torque on a 34cm steering rim means 15kg of force at full signal. Fun! :-D
