Probably Windows 10 only though
Although my laptop is WIn10 and should run original Xbox games fairly well if they do a good job of it, since I think the original Xbox was x86.

I just walked into town to the local retro games store, they had PS1's and PS2's that don't read disks for £5 each. I can't imagine they would be a difficult fix (probably via adjusting the laser), but they don't come with any cables, controllers or games (I don't own any, so may be an issue, though they have a load of games for £3 each). I never had a PS2 but enjoyed the mystery of it whenever I visited my cousins once or twice a year. So that could possibly be a fun little project for a living room box too. But I can emulate all that stuff very easily on my PC.

Either way I am going to wait it out until I have confirmation from parents as to whether they still have the Xbox somewhere, not getting my hopes up though cause I haven't seen it in 10 years :p

Indeed it was. The OG Xbox used a custom Pentium III 733MHz, a custom Nvidia NV2A GPU (based on the GeForce 3), and 64 megs of DDR 200MHz. The original operating system (Xbox Dashboard) was a heavily modified Windows XP, meaning it used the same basic kernel with modified Windows log files. This also means the console was able to utilize DirectX 8.1, meaning full PC ports of games shouldn't be difficult at all. It's also where the console got its name: The (Direct)Xbox.

The only sixth generation console I'm missing is a GameCube. I have a later Xbox, a slim PS2 (same one from when I was a kid), and a Sega Dreamcast. I also have all of the seventh gen consoles (Xbox 360, PS3 (slightly broken), Wii), one 4th gen console in the form of a PS1 with a bad laser, and a first gen console: my NES.

What is with all these "Fidget Spinners?" I swear I can't go anywhere in town without seeing at least one kid with one. There was a whole stand at the mall selling them. I just don't get it. It spins. That's it. Yay, so exciting. (Sarcasm intensifies)

It "cures" ADHD, or so they say. It's supposed to help you focus, but it just distracts everyone else instead.

Well then maybe it just took a little longer to get to my area.
Sounds like something that one kid has in a classroom and suddenly the next day everyone has one.

I still have our first Packard Bell somewhere with the original W98 on it. As well as the screen, keyboard, mouse, speakers, and probably cables tbh.
If Windows Xp was supporting DX11/DX12 I would probably still used it. Was running better and it had Clippy. And the Yellow dog, don't know his name through

And it doesn't work like a fidget. I have issues where I need to fidget. A friend let me borrow a fidget spinner, and it did nothing. It's not a fidget, just an annoyance.
At least you don't have an idiot friend who triggered the health teacher by saying that "Fidget spinners cause ADHD". Not to mention his other famous quote "Cyberbullying isn't real".
