I mainly use Beam as a off road simulator, And some times parts break, Driveshafts, Axleshafts, Or even the Tie rods break and steering goes out. It'd be cool to be able to Winch trucks out of tough spots or tow a broken vic out of the trails. With a winch system, like spintires the tow points are preset in the files of each truck, But with Beam, You could use the grab nodes ingame as tow points, That'd give the ability to rip cars apart for those who like the Crash sim side of Beam. Then, That'd open Trailer Tie down options for Trucking sim side of beam. It could be as simple as Click grab node, Click second node and a "Chain" appears between the two. Or as complicated as spawning a Towchain (Like the one on the Repo but not only mounted to Tow hitch) --- And the Ability to make a Towtruck from the Dseries, Or Tseries rollback.
Beam needs to allow us to use more ratings per post. I couldn't decide between useful, agree, etc. I really want this. It could help with the Dyno that Beam was in the process. Or with scenarios, have a ball attached to a pig trying to do courses, or even just messing around in free mode. Highly agree.
The dyno was cancelled. its bugs couldn't be ironed out. I both agree with the main suggestion of the winch AND that the rating system should be redone. I find it dumb to have "like" and "agree", or "Useful" and "Informative" What's the difference supposed to be?
