How bulletproof is a 2002 Saturn Vue with 140,000 miles on it? Getting passed on down to me soon.

Looks exactly like this one and I ought to take a picture of it and put it on here.

Because that would be a good idea. GM's seemingly active aversion to them is contagious from what I can tell.

Who the hell buys a Mustang for its safety features anyway?

Because it still will be an Astra wouldn't it?

I sort of don't get the idea of those added blacktrim bits of the Super Legnum/Galant VR4. Looks like they were stuck on last minute.

Meh, not really, probably just a Americanized Accord with gaudy trims.

Interestingly, a small amount of the econoboxes your talking about made its way to the Philippines, i saw some in my area with the most gaudy steering wheel and interior trim.

These shared no relation to the Accord, both of those cars were built on the GM J-Body, which were genuinely turds, specifically the Australian market Holden Camira:

I kinda want to disagree and say J-bodies aren't bad, but seeing the Camira, i agree, although i do like the Chevrolet Cavalier.

The Camira got a bad reputation due to poor reliability
Yeah, the J-Body is a world car, so there is heaps of different variations for different markets.
The Camira we got in Australia was initially plagued with reliability and build quality issues that tarnished it's image. Not sure whether that goes for all markets though. Still, I'd take an Accord over a J-Body any day;)

    HSV/Walkinshaw aren't owned by GM ;)
Well yes, but HSV would improve it 100%

No sign of horrid Opel would be left :p

I think the VXR model already covers that though.

You've said that in the wrong neck of the woods son.

I'd sit back down if I were you.

Something tells me you don't know a thing about either & you're just pulling an opinion out of your arse.
