Solved How To Disable Turbo's Blow Off Valve

I have been working on a mod and have been trying to disable the blow off valve since the engine it is connected to wouldn't come with one

 

Take a look at the diesel ETK turbos (vehicles/common/etk_engine.jbeam) or the semi turbo and you should be able to work it out

I'd post the required stuff here but I'm on my phone atm.

 

Hmmm I checked out the engine in the 800 series and I notice it does what I do not want.
What I mean by disable is to basically remove a turbo's blowoff/wastegate while still producing pressure
Which in turn would cause overboosting

 

I don't understand what do you want exactly but why you don't replace the turbo sound by a blank file ?

 

Let me get automotive real quick about the mod
The 6.0 powerstroke engine does not have a blow off valve
The blow off valve keeps the turbo from putting pressure in the engine when there is little to no fuel
I am trying to get rid of the blow off valve entirely while still keeping the turbo in effect while pushing air into the engine

Also the coding I didn't have does get rid of the blow off sound which is not the goal the goal is to allow overboosting when the engine is idling down with no throttle applied

Another reason why I am wondering how to do this is because it annoys me to see the turbo gauge just flick down to 0 when you let off the gas

then i'm not sure, it might be not possible yet to have no bov

 

Apparently now it is in V.10
I guess it was indirectly solved by a game update
