might be an issue with the mod or may be with the game but when i decided to crush a van with a wheelstand, the camera controls got all sorts of funky like left and right would become up and down and vice versa.
the ref nodes might have collision enabled and freak out when hitting somthing. i was gonna mention this month's ago when i noticed but for some reason never got to do it
They're not collision-enabled if I remember correctly. And, like I said, I've seen this happening with most vehicles in multi-spawn environments. --- Post updated --- Update: collisions are enabled. No value is specified, so it's on by default. I'll fix this.
what a improvement of the first version of this truck wow pls send me links for skins for the truck pls --- Post updated --- can we try to get bigfoot 5 pls
First time poster, long time lurker and trucker, love the mod and thank you for all the hard work, it's a blast. @Inertia, great work on the truck, the only issue I see is the engine is very Top Fuel-esque which isn't what's actually run on monster trucks, they're very close to Top Alcohol engines that are detuned a bit (generalizing a bit). Typically monster trucks run a strip of metal as a blower belt guard, as opposed to the wire snout cover your model has. The supercharger you're using is more of a Top Fuel-style, monster trucks use an 8-71 blower made by Littlefield and have a different shape, the drive snout is much shorter and the case is typically polished. Also the spark plug wires don't run straight up the valve covers, they typically run along the side of the block to either the back of the engine to the magneto. These two pictures should help show what I'm talking about. This is the Littlefield 8-71 housing.
Tires are the least of our problems. Pretty much all the underpinnings must be redesigned to accomodate the big wheels. Definitely not something that can be done overnight. --- Post updated --- So, tomorrow I'll release an hotfix to address the minor bugs reported in the last few days - refnodes, swaybars. The addon pack will also be updated to include the new Winter Classic Bigfoot and new beadlocked rims for each Bigfoot paint scheme.
