I want Mitsubishi to bring back the Legnum vr4 why? because we need more sports wagons that aren't European and crossovers suck massive dick! imagine a rebaged sedan (Galant VR4) and wagon version of this with awd, a small turbo V6 connected to a hybrid drivetrain with modern all wheel steering (or a modern version of AYC) now that's how you save Mitsubishi. Its the complete opposite here euro "crap" is now usually brought by people who want to be "unique" and "chic" while everyone else goes Japanese (except maybe luxury cars because somehow BMW is the way to go not Lexus). Tbh I wouldn't mind a new Fiat 500 Abarth if they were reliable.
American & European cars had a good rep, but in recent years cars like VW, Peugeot, Citroen, etc have gotten a bad rep for reliability and Fiat-Chrysler has basically screwed over the reputation of both continents cars.
Had never heard of a Lexus LC500 until tonight, honestly one of the coolest looking cars I've ever seen
Tesla Model 3 has now launched. Going to be interesting to see how it reviews and how quickly they are going to be able to ramp it up to full mass production.
Range is slightly disappointing, if I'm honest. And the front clip is... different. However, after government kickbacks and other incentives, and depending on how you shop, you could potentially get a Model 3 for under $30,000. I think that's fantastic, especially since it has features like Tesla's autopilot. It's also way less embarrassing to be seen in than that stupid Chevy Bolt or a Nissan Leaf. I say, if they eventually come out with something like a P90D version for around $50,000, I'm sold.
They did say there was going to be quick versions. Should be interesting to see how far they push it, not that the base model is slow by any means There is also over a years waiting list too which kinda sucks. Should be interesting to see how these fair on the second hand market too.
I like the front of the model 3. It's pretty cool looking, and I'd love to see them driving around as much as Honda Accords.
I find amusement in the thought that the Honda Accord is getting to be a not so common sight. I don't think they have sold them in the UK for quite a while. Turns out the US accord and European/Japan Accords were quite different. This is the entire Honda lineup in the UK
Personally I think the leaf is quite ugly, the front end is super bug eyed, the rear end also looks super strange. The Zoe is not exactly great either, but I think it is better than the leaf. The model 3 is IMO the best looking Tesla to date. I think the model X looks pretty awful. The Morgan EV3 is pretty sick though
Why would they need an Accord, the Civic is so fat that it's practically an Accord itself at this point. Also, electric cars can burn. No noise, no shifting = no fun.
I'm getting pretty tired of just being the passenger in cars all the time; I've only driven something motorized twice in my entire life. I'd also like to get into fixing cars but I don't even have enough money for a sub-$500 project car. [/rant that probably nobody on here can relate to]
