Thanks for the reply Elvisnake. It's too bad I have to use 3dsmax to export the models, since I don't have it, and don't want to pirate it to get it. I love your car by the way, it's the car I use the most in beamng now a days
Your welcome. Note than Nadeox is right I have convert a mod for GTA IV not an original vehicle by Rockstar who nevers send the permission to convert a car like the buffalo for exemple. I don't need the agreement of Rockstar because they create nothing in the case of this mod. The practice is good for learning but at the end, the goal is to create your own vehicle; the pontiac for me.
This Silverado is so far my favorite car in the game. This car is great crawler when you make offroad suspension settings more loose and little more low end torgue and better brakes. Big thumbs up guys. -If finnish people says this is good then this is.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I really don't think GM called their trucks Silverado's back before the mid 90's? They use to be c/k10, 20, 30. K is 4wd, C is 2wd.
Dkutch, You are right for the most part but in some countries the C/K model was called the silverado even before the year 2001, not sure if that was what you were looking for but oh well.
I have resolved the dark color problem, and add the texture of rubber to the chevy wheels. If everything is ok the next update will come this week. Now I have another problem: if I change the material values, nothing change ingame
whens the update coming out man? EDIT: Not sure why but this mod has started to crash my game and I get no error report. I have re-DL'd this mod but still crashes my game
I'm having a bit of a dilemma right now. I can't seem to figure out where the steering wheel texture is located. Does the author (or anyone else, for that matter) know where it is?
Yes it's located in the folder image/chev_carpet @chevy65 try restart your computer/update your game. Before the new update, I need to fix the last normals orientation, and the color who don't want to change.
I'll give the restart and update a shot and see what happens. Thanks for the reply I really love this truck. EDIT: It works again no idea what the update changed but it works again Thanks again
In the zip there's a folder called "vehicle" and inside that there's a folder called "silverado". That's what you copy to the Vehicles folder in BeamNG.
How come when i select it in the Ctrl+E mode, it does not load. it leaves a blank space where the previous vehicle was? any help?
