I'm thinking about thrusters on the exhaust pipes to act as boosts. I might resume the project soon - I'm just transitioning computers
I tried out your go kart mod and it looks cool so far but I went to see if there was first person (driver view) there was none are you thinking about adding a first person (driver view). anyways keep up the good work
I still have to add a first person camera but I've made some huge improvements to suspension and powertrain as well as added sounds. It actually handles well now! The latest version is attached to this post. I still have to add brake lights, better brakes maybe a character model. That would be separate from the vehicle. I'd also need to change the JBeam to fit. Coming next!
Latest version: Much improved suspension tuning Thrusters activated with "T" (0-60 in 3.8, top speed 145mph) First person view Nicer default color Less wobble Working brake light All motor options available in parts selector Smoother power delivery and shifting Nicer wheels Vehicle selector image and description Known issues: Brakes still suck Steers more slowly to the right than left (idk why pls help)
It doesn't veer off to the side at all. It's just that when using a keyboard, the steering wheel moves more slowly to the right than it does when steering to the left. I'm perplexed because the kart is completely symmetrical as far as the JBeam is concerned.
hm weird --- Post updated --- so since you already basicly have this one done are you thinking about adding other karts
One of the only things I have to do now is fix the front brakes and steering rate with keyboard. Can anybody help me with this? I have no idea why the front brakes aren't working or why it steers more slowly to the right with keyboard controls.
