Use Paint.Net. so much more stable. It's never crashed for me yet.

 

Or use something fully featured like GIMP. Paint.net doesn't seem to handle .dds too well for compression.

 

It works perfectly for me. I made all my skins with it.

 

I don't know how to use GIMP (not joking), Photoshop crashed because I accidentally overloaded it. I'm using NVIDIA's plugin because Photoshop doesn't natively support DDS.

ever wondered where the Godzilla logo I use was from? well, it's actually part of the cover of the English-dubbed Heisei films from 1991-1995 (TriStar, the people that made the 1998 film, designed these):

I doodled a chibi heisei goji in MS paint since Microsoft is removing the program.

it came out better than I expected for spending only 3 minutes on it
so I added color with photoshop (also took 3 minutes)

so right now I'm ignoring the forums (for a good reason) and decided to make a very, very long post in #EverythingGodzilla about how I feel about Godzilla and how the movies follows (I want to express my opinion). I even made a few skins for GPACK.
