Update Speculation thread

The only thing I personally would expect is West Coast, USA, and maybe either the Bluebuck or the Soliad Wendover. I am kind of doubting it though, since the devs haven't teased either. (at least not to my knowledge)

 

For the love of BeamNG we need a minivan! And a modern SUV, and pickup.

 

They did say they were working on something big/unexpected.

Maybe that means Bluebuck AND minivan!

 

The fact that we haven't seen any images of the Bluebuck, even while @Nadeox1 is using phrases like "Soon" and implying some pretty serious new content has me worried that the situation we experienced with the Legran is repeating itself ... we didn't outsource it to another deadbeat, did we? I'd be greatly comforted if I knew somebody on the Beam Team was personally handling the mesh and texture work this time around, doubly so if we could get a picture of the WIP.

About the pictures though, the first ingame shots of the LeGran were released within a week or two of the update, so the Bluebuck could still be in it.

 

The update might be here this weekend, I am expecting it.

 

What day of the week was 0.9 dropped?

 

April 14th. On a Friday.

 

It is approaching the end of July. This Friday is the 28th, this is the date I think it will drop. I am probably wrong though. I am bad at predictions.

 

There probably wont be a unannounced car before the bluebuck as the hopper was an unannounced car and in the past on such a car followed one that was

Something this game NEEDS are (optional) airbags...

 

Yes, they don't even seem that hard to add considering that there is a inflatable mat prop, just scale that down, and you have an airbag! I have no idea why they haven't added airbags if it is a HUGE part of modern vehicles.

I think they will release the update if west coast usa or italy map are done (or mawbey both, while i dont think italy is that far done).
Also, i havent seen much about a new car but they could suprise us but i dont think they will. As i follow the development stuff i dont think the update is really ready yet.
