You might check again, that seems a bit short for how old and underpowered that plane was, even though it was a trijet.

 

I think you have doubts about a 727's short field performance... That was a short field takeoff.

 

Maybe it was. Idk I'm not good with older planes.

 

Any developers working on cars ought to check out this website. They give you the dimensions of a vehicle, important engine statistics, information on all the variants, and even a torque curve, although I'm not certain that it's exactly the same as the curve used in Beamng.


Still, this might prove to be a useful resource. With the "compare" feature, you can put up to five cars side-by-side and get a good idea of what was available factory equipment for a certain vehicle archetype during a particular time period. For example, if we can figure out what all the German luxury car brands were doing with their full-size four-door sedans during a certain time period, we can pick and choose the best features for a new ETK!

Alternately, this may be a good tool for modders to quickly gather most of the data they need to replicate a real-life car.

Wow! It even shows the gear ratios! That's pretty good information, better than simply playing around until it "feels right"

 

I see a new button in the Esc menu, looks like an official replay system!

oh, so that was a bug, i always thought it was just something weird about the way DCT's react to accelerating pretty much the moment i have it in gear
