What FPS do people (e.g. the youtubers) get on BeamNG?

Not really only applying to the youtubers, even though I am thinking of making BeamNG videos.
On lowest graphics, without anti-aliasing and shadows, I get 18-24 FPS. What FPS should I have to do that kind of stuff? Of course 18-24 fps seems very smooth to me because I usually run at 5 FPS...

 

Your system sounds under powered. What are your specs? WhyBeAre seems to get at least around 50-60 fps.

 

dude, you should be getting a high frame rate to do youtube, i would recommend have 60+ fps, you will need to get a better computer, as the recording software will take alot of power away from youre system, which im guessing is a laptop or a really bad desktop, you should look at gaming pc's custom made by you to keep the cost down, you could also look at youtube videos to look for people that have gaming pc's for a cheap price. overall you would not be able to get any views on a system that runs the game that badly so wait intill you have a more powerful system to do so.

 

You should get at least 30 fps all the time with medium settings AT LEAST to even think about doing YouTube videos. Otherwise I would wait until you can do 1080p high settings with 60 fps if you want to create the best videos.

By the way, I really don't care if my video looks pretty or not. All I really care is that it's not a sluggish mess of 5 fps.

Well SOMETHING is taking .5 of my ram because it used to be 4 gb, so i'm under the limit. That's already bad.
I really don't know what all the other stuff is, nor do I care. I'm running on a stock windows 10 64-bit laptop, so it's basically a potato.

To be quite honest .. The 18 FPS you are getting on lowest settings isnt much better

 

You could try recording with BeamNG running in slow motion. Then speed up the video afterwards. It would be painfully tedious, but the end result would be smoother.

 

I get anywhere from 30-60 on high and i usually run on normal and get 45-60 depending on how many cars and what map. I have an example video i made below and as you can see the first set of crashes was 3 cars and a tractor at about 50-60fps. I would not ever make videos for beam if you go under 30. Even having 30 fps is not that great.

 

Trust me, people will hate you unless you can get 6pFPS highest settings.

That's why I thought of lowering mine to get a good fps and maybe do videos.

honestly i don't care about getting popular

 

I usually run around 100 FPS on high settings with 1 car. I can get about 50 with 6 cars and medium settings.
