No way at the moment, but Bid could create this sort of Survival-mode to it, where would be not lap times at all and the main objective would be ''last car moving''-type of racing.
Yes buddy because ive modded my track so it tight so more crashes but all cars time out if there is a pile up im a UK Banger Fan so i would like to pile in the pile up but can't because the race ends lol
Hmm, yea, there should be slightly longer call out timer, especially for the endless survival-type of race. More gamemodes will be added in the future, these suggestions will be noted. Btw, what sort of edits have you done to the map ?
Sorry to go off-topic but can anyone tell me where I can find the scenario that was for the in-game multiplayer but had working AI for the players to fight against? Would be much appreciated, thanks! Or if Bid modified that scenario to have at least 7 opponents that would be pretty amazing too! Hope the update is coming along well DD and Bid, cheers boys. I'm having an issue where the only option I'm allowed to pick 1s the amount of cars. When I pick higher than 4 cars, none of the cars spawn.
As much as I hate to push and pry, when are you expecting to release your update? Are you going to wait until they implement overrev damage? Should remove the Rev limiter from all of their cars when that occurs. I try to play as realistic as possible and will be removing the rev limiter. I think 90%+ of the real life derby community drive without one as far as I can tell. But the AI also drive really strategically with whatever settings you use and honestly pretty slowly IMO. They never attempt a 180/360/ powerslide of any sort which takes some fun out for me. But that's okay, I get that you want them to drive more professional. HOnestly am very impressed, you really have to work to get a good shot on them sometimes. So thanks for the mod and please keep us filled in
Can't say for sure on the release but it is coming along. It is hard to find enough time to get much done but there are a number of things I have been working on. The update will include some new Arena's, car configs from DD, AI changes, bug fixes, and more...
Has the latest update broken this scenario for anyone else? I try to run it and nothing happens, and then it doesn't let me go into anything else until I close and reopen the game.
Can't wait to wreck some sh*t with upgraded radiators so that I can rev everything to the moon! The moonhawk with the right larger stock tires and 3.08 posi trak hook really nicely on the grass track. I think they hook well enough to use the big block 423 in the Barstow myself, but seems as though she can't handle the revs as well as the small block. IDO love the extra power and there's no replacement for displacement!
Yeah, things will be definitely much better with new stuff. Also, I already tested about the new Node to Node system, that allows you to ''weld'' to parts together. Great feature to properly shut the doors, trunk lid and hood and provide some structural strenght: Those will be done at some point, I don't think, that Bid has time to put them into the next update, but definitely will be on the mod at some point later.
The welded doors? Or what. Also, try welding the 2 nodes that are further out instead of the latch. I weld my trunks in real life right by the edges of the trunk lid and then further up on the sides. My worry is that the cars will bend down more drastically with only the back of the trunk lid welded down. May never give them an opportunity to bend up. I dont know... People think derby cars are just get in and smash lol. Never think about how much time and planning and work it takes to figure out the perfect setup. In real life you better be right the first time cuz you'll end up wasting a car if you build it wrong. I guess it's less important in game haha. Just in case you're wondering why I sound so anal.
