If you're just cruising along and then decide to gun it, the DCT in the Sunburst and SBR4 (And any others im assuming) take quite a while to change down, usually dropping 1 gear, waiting a sec, another, then another and then you're finally off
Pretty much we were musing one day that it would be nice to have some more totally random props when Mitch created a detailed piano model out of the blue and I spent the weekend jbeaming it But we felt it wasn't really ready for release until it had something unique about it like the music and crunch sounds, so it sat on the backburner for awhile until the sound work began to progress. We didn't take it too seriously and didn't want to hype it up, just something goofy for people to find on their own. And yes when it came to choosing a music clip, after watching Car Boys it was obvious what to play
Nice. Also, why is the piano internally called a Hirochi MusicaFicta? Just another thing out of the blue too?
The Hirochi name is inspired by Yamaha making both musical instruments and later motorcycles and automobile engines (oh, have I added to the lore now? ), MusicaFicta is a musical term that I think is appropriate. But its a bit of a mouthful for the part selector, so we gave it a more normal name in the end.
Huh I thought Hirochi was based on Mitsubishi/Subaru but unlike Mitsubishi, Hirochi still makes interesting cars.
It works here, not sure why it doesn't for you (and I think I saw another report from somebody else) Maybe a mod is doing it.
You know what? I had actually been wanting a piano in Beam for a while. I was thinking of a grand piano at the time. I like the new piano.
Random question. A wiki contributor said he updated the various config listings to use their new names. However, some of the tuned variants are still listed as "Custom". So, what is the difference between a "Street Tuned" car that used to be called "Custom", and a car that still is called "Custom"? This could be important.
You know... I think they are gonna get soo confused when reading through the wiki without realizing that the fact that the piano was suppose to be manufactured by Hirochi...
The main thing is that custom is a very American word used for hot rods etc, rarely for imports, and we thought it was a bit more authentic to have a different naming for the German and Japanese cars. Nothing more than that. The other change was to add the surface type for the Hillclimb and Rally cars because there was some confusion among people as to what the cars are tuned for.
Options > Camera and check if the camera modes you want to use is disabled. Disabling a camera will exclude it from the 'C' cycling thing. Works fine here, it's on your end more likely. Clear Cache / Check mods F7 now follows cameras direction. Ie. if you point your camera to the ground, the vehicle will also point to the ground. Ie2. If you point your camera to north, the vehicle will spawn facing north. Works fine here. Verify your cache, eventually clean reinstall. EDIT - Saw it was because of an apostrophe.. Avoid special characters in config names. Drag link steering? There's no part named like that. Thanks for the report, we will check. Cannot replicate this one. Setting x100 slowmo and going really fast doesn't make the dynamic field of view 'spazz'. Woops, not meant. For some reason the TSFB material is gone. Fixed already for the next update/hotfix.
Hey i got this weird CTD (Crash To Desktop) happening, it happens randomly and i have no mods i tried safe mode, i tried reinstalling the game and even removing the overclock on my graphics card because it has caused crashing in the past on other games but i still have the issue
Sounds like a problem not related to the update. Could you please make a separate thread, then provide a Support ID? https://wiki.beamng.com/BeamNG_FAQ#..._a_.27Support_Request.27._How_do_I_do_that.3F
Mm, there are some errors I do not like too much in your logs. Could you please first try with a clean reinstall? (Slightly different from just reinstalling the game) https://wiki.beamng.com/BeamNG_FAQ#How_do_I_perform_a_clean_reinstall.3F
Widebody Front Fenders. On a clean installation, no mods involved. Definitely caused by this, error in the material assignment:
