Cars being added in the future!! :D

I honestly like it when they lock those threads. Most of them (like this) are new or annoying members who think they've found a hot scoop and make a big deal about it. Then other new or casual members see it and think that the list is the actual order of vehicles, and don't stop spamming about the vehicles on it.

IIRC the Bruckell Albatross was meant to be a mid-70s luxury coupe (think '73 Ford Thunderbird),,the Civetta Fulmine was meant to be a fictional Maserati 3500GT and the Charmand 1304B would be an 80s French subcompact, like the Renault 5 or Peugeot 205. There was also something called Gavril Roquefort, which was a late 70s downsized fullsize (think '77 Chevy Caprice or '79 Ford LTD), and a LeGran wagon (no idea if it would be called LeGran, or something else).

I'm guessing the Jargl Squit would be a Kalmar, a 60s Swedish mail truck, and the DT825 would be a 2.5 turbodiesel old Volvo (any model from the 240 to the 850).

Any word on the others, devs?

I'm new here, but the Gavril Blackstone just from the name it sounds mean, I picture a long four door with lots of power, like a 65 or 66 Impala four door with a two door option, it would be really cool to see the Blackstone.

Dodge 880.

 

The name suggests Chevrolet Impala (both impala and bluebuck are species of antellope).

 

IGCD lists the Bluebuck as based on the 1963 Dodge 880, and the Bluebuck does look a lot like a '62 880. Of course it's only based on at most and I am sure a fair amount of element from contemporary Chevrolet models will make it in.

Gabe seems to like referencing real life stuff with the names (the best examples I can think of are Ibishu/MitsUBISHI and IIRC Gavril = Gabriel in another language) so your suggestion must be correct for the origin of the name.

 

Then whats the Gavril Blackstone based off, if any of you know.

 

As much as I would like to figure out what these were all suppose to be just for the fun of it and nothing more, it would surely get someone livid because that's just what the concept list does.

There isn't really any useful speculation/information to be gained from the list. We have some information of some of them, and some have made it into the game, but none of these vehicles were ever promised. Even the ones we have information on may never make it in.

In other words: the Blackstone may never make in into the game, it may never have been more than just a name. Maybe it is destined to come to the game in the distant future or just have the name recycled. No one knows, probably not even the developers.

 

Does anyone think we could see a French sporting tourer similar to the Delahaye 135 in the future, due to Gabe liking this car and working on one for RoR some time ago ?
Sorry for speculating again, but I think there is a chance of it happening. Probably in a long time though.

About the concept list : I'm not convinced every single vehicle on the list will make it in-game, but there's probably a few cars on the list that Gabester wants to put in-game, like the Hopper.

 

Yea but if we do get any words of the Blackstone, it would be great! Cause the Barstow is like a pony car in my mind but i'd love a big mean muscle car, maybe even a newer muscle car, but I dont know what it could be, infact none of us do. it could be a gremlin for all we know, all we can do is guess.

 

With the promised cars almost out of the way the devs can work on adding some variety into the vehicle library. I am not sure how far exactly they want to go with the whole "variety" thing (I personally love seeing weird stuff in this game that other racing games don't have, so what I hope they mean by variety is probably broader than what they meant. If I had my way we would have all sorts of weird stuff that they probably have no intention of adding). Either way, we do know that the concept list has types of vehicles we don't have and the devs want to expand on the variety, so there is a good possibility that we will see some more cars from the list after the Wendover is introduced.

Most of these cars wont be added, some will. Ive seen this list a Kjhpillion times and its nothing new. It was removed from the vehicles list years ago, and a few of the new ingame cars weren't even on there. (See ETK)

Please, newcomers, do your research before postings such threads, as forum is already full of them... In addition to that, developers are not obliged to do anything from the list, as it was created by the community (and NOT developers), therefore, they have a free-will to have, or not to have these brands or models - some of the cars from the list did appear, but some of them may not appear at all...

 

Ok. What car did the Ford Mustang II share a chassis with?
