So all of this is on the same boat as removing the statues in New Orleans? I still don't really understand how taking those Confederate statues down are erasing history. I can see where destroying them is erasing history, but they're still intact, though they're being moved. And yeah, people is going to blame Trump for almost everything. The same thing happened with previous presidents, so it's nothing new.
I guess it would depend on where they're being taken and why. My money's on "somewhere no one will ever see them" and "because PC", respectively.
Just bought a video card for my vintage Pentium 3 gaming rig, was a tough call between the iconic GeForce3 ti200 and the slightly more powerful GeForce4 ti4200, both cards I wanted for Christmas as a kid, ended up going with the ti4200 for the extra performance. Paid a little premium for it but after seeing what the 4600 and 4800's where going for I felt slightly better about it. Can't wait to play Serious Sam and Vice City on this sucker.
Well, the $300 Foxbody Mustang fell through after the guy sold it from right out underneath me. I wanted to stab that bastard. Anyway, what does a depressed American do when the cheap V8 car he wanted gets ripped from his hands? He falls for a more expensive one that will be ripped from his hands. 2009 GT 45th Anniversary Edition. Pretty much fully loaded with a manual transmission. I've been trying my damnedness to get financed for about 3 days. Apparently, nobody wants to finance a 19 year old for a muscle car because apparently everyone (parents, dealer, and girlfriend included) seem to think I'm going to kill myself (not that that'd be a bad thing...). It's got some balls, but not really scarily fast. Hopefully the limited slip diff will let me have a bit more fun than the open nonsense in my current V6 car.
Gotta move quick. Can't sit around with your thumb up your ass. Ain't sold till the title is signed and money is transferred. A limited slip in something rwd with a bit of power is pretty much a must-have in my book.
This has actually happened to me before with a Civic. Someone came by and offered him more money. I can't say I blame him, but I still want to wash the walls with his blood. Oh well. This new Modular monster will more than suffice. The Anniversary Edition cars are investments.
Why do people think this forum is an appropriate place to talk through emotional/mental issues? There are much better places to do that, many operated by professionals trained in crisis management. A quick Google search -- something along the lines of "crisis hotline" or "suicide prevention" -- will find them. This community is not equipped to handle such nuanced issues, especially when lives are potentially at stake.
I get back after a week of camping and find out I missed ivan getting permabanned Is it too late to celebrate?
I guess if you treat a car like that with love and respect then it will do the same things to you. Weren't these cars designed for younger people in the first place?
Meh it shows like how the forum is like connecting people I guess, I would be concerned if it was in the BeamNG section but this is the off topic section and everyone talks about anything and everything, quite good really tbh.
Well, not gonna lie. If it were my money I wouldn't be lending it to a 19y/o who is trying to buy a muscle car. Since I would have very little idea as to the financial stability of them and no history of whether they are responsible or not. Including history of whether they are a good driver or not. Maybe I am just super privileged, but generally I don't buy things unless I can afford them. The one exception would be university, but unless I am earning more than some amount (around £20k ish per year) then I don't need to make any repayments and after somewhere around 20 years anything left over is wiped away. But the hope is that it is an investment in order to attain higher paying jobs.
