Released American 80's Fullsize Series 2.1

Is it just me or does the gearbox not shift until almost hitting redline? Is this a bug or am I missing something?

 

What file do I need to edit in order to use the "oldsfullsize_transmission_5M" MT for the Caprice Classic? thanks!

Caprice Nardelli off-road version doesn't work even when i have Nardelli wheels instaled.

and this is what i found, the Cadillac Coupe De Ville was made into a El Camino type thing called the Cadillac Mirage. it could be created if @SergentFido creates a C-body platform

No caprice coupe planned. The currently available Caprice is some kind of guest model including Carface80 work to my own mod, with some (a lot of) adaptations. If he ever does a Caprice coupe, then i may think about adding it, but i'm not going to do it. Bonus the Aero coupe was available only on the 1977-79 body styling. The Caprice available in the mod are 86 to 89. So this is not going to happen.

In a more general way, please don't speculate too much on further B or C body variant :

- I have not planned to do all those cars. Making Cadillac, Pontiac, Buick in every body style and all the interior will result in maybe one year full time of making them. I don't have such a time.
I just said that what i would like to see is Cadillac Sedan De Ville. This doesn't mean i will do it. I will rather do the Delta 88 coupe then some addition to this mod and it will be done.

- The ignition spark of making those Oldsmobile was that i own one. Then the caprice question arrived with the need of the wagon first. And i extended the mod to the Caprice because it's an iconic movie star, it was worth the work. Making Buick and Pontiac are a lot of work that doesn't worth it for me, i have no affect with them. I like them but i won't do them. Never. Too much work.
I will go on other project like the Vendome instead.

- But if someone wants to make a very well detailled Cadillac Deville, or Pontiac, or Buick, with the same modelling and texturing standard, then go ahead ! All is there, frame, engines, drivetrain,body jbeam that can be easily tweaked to fit little shape changes and so on. But be warned this is a lot of work.
Also for the Cadillac Deville special case, please don't use the well known model seen in many GTA mods. It's way too low poly and doesn't fit nowadays standarts.

 

I have a G27, it simply does not work. I can't even get the cars into third gear.

 

Engines and drivetrain were tuned by a Staff member who has a steering wheel, so i would be very surprised to see this particular mod not working with steering wheels
I'm personaly happy with my Xbox 360 controller.

Hey GREAT MOD but do you think it would be possible to add a transbrake to the drag cars?

 

Absolutely fantastic! The coupe was my main hype point but the wagon and Caprice are stunning as well! You sir are the greatest thing to happen to BeamNG GM fans since well, nothing!

P.S. - If you need any sound bytes for a clunker 305, Mine isn't exactly, erm, 'running smooth' at the moment. Also, if you need any info about it to make things more accurate from a current owner, I may be of some use for that as well.
