I don't mind the new logo, but I don't like the big YOUTUBE word in the embed videos. They should just use the play button logo.

Even after you told me they changed it, I still had to look up what the old one looked like to see the difference. The mobile site is still the same so I don't really care.

 

Welp...I know this is rather late, but I guess that's just America's way of showing Canada that they can still be #1...by polluting the utter crap out of their northern neighbors after America itself has already suffered from blazes. Well done, whatever forces were at work there; well done.

Meanwhile, I've been noticing that a few people on the forums (like Godzilla! and NinetyNine!) have exclamation points added to their usernames. I wonder what purpose this serves, as surely, a username can't be nearly as exciting as the user it is associated to or the posts made by that user...unless those serve as secret clickbait for the users' profile pages and statuses so that little kids who happen to be on the Beam forums can be more tempted to click on those usernames to make the effort of making a status worth it.

 

I have a buttload of userscripts so im not really bothered by the logo swap. I'm screwed when they completely remove the old style though. RIP YT+

The dev section has been quite dry, we haven't heard anything since 0.10 was released (except buildbot broke and the DCT bug is fixed). Anything new?

 

Those guys like EVERY SINGLE SCREENSHOT I POST. Are my screenshots that bad that the only ones leaving a rating are the ones who just like something because it's there?

To fix, post better screenshots, include modding progress, use ReShade, people love that.

Yeah Youtube, I fucking know that the video have been added to the "Liked videos" I've just clicked on the freaking like button. Wtf is wrong with this website ?

 

You can actually go back to the old design by clicking on your channel icon in the top right corner, in the pull down menu there is usually an option to go back to the "classic" design

 

But it's right at the bottom of the menu in gray text, so you won't immediately see it. Clever...
