engine oil temp super spike

So I discovered a weird bug that occurs after you blow the engine on the Civetta Bolide (all mods are disabled here, and the game version is up to date). After the engine seized, I took the car out of fifth gear and into neutral, and then put it back into fifth gear again and then dumped the clutch (meanwhile the gas pedal is still being pressed) and the engine oil temp suddenly started rising from around 200-300 C all the way to figures like 3000-4000 C and then the numbers disappear all together causing the gauges to act up for a while. I have provided a video that demonstrates the occurrence. (it takes place right after the initial engine blow so you may want to skip through the video) This didn't appear to happen in any other case except for when I pulled it out and back into fifth gear while holding the gas pedal.
