Got bored, decided to make particles for the meents sparklers. And here's where they lie now. Utter shite, but babby's first and all that. Since i've posted they've got better but i can't be bothered to make a GIF again (imported from here) However i ran into a slight problem. Those're just the sparks. I wanted to add the flame, smoke and a secondary ember effect, but as soon as i added another particle to the emitter as the tutorial said i very well could, the first spark particle there immediately got deleted. And yes i saved it. Likewise, no matter how many times i save both the particle and the new emitter, every time i change emitters or add a new particle to the emitter it's wiped clean, the emitter and any attached particles disappearing. And if i quit the map or restart the game, they all disappear completely. go team retard
Brass Beast is nearly there. A few more cockpit details, remake the seat, a few more gears here and there, fix up the cradle and we're done (imported from here) Click it for 3d
Yeah the Willman El Toro/Bulldozer is a different mould. Bed's longer, cab looks similar enough that i don't have to change it and the hood is pretty different. No so much of a rake to it, much rounder and softer, that sort of thing. Wouldn't be hard to convert this mesh into dozer though, already did that stupid five minute stuck up horn model
Bumping threads is generally frowned apon in this forum. If a thread hasn't been updated in a long time, don't disturb it. If the author wants to revive it, that's fine. Otherwise, let the threads die. Just wanted to let you know.
Nothing is stopping it from being in game except harlow himself who has several times spewed out a load of crap about how he won't even attempt to load it in game until BeamNG adds a JBeam editor which isn't even a confirmed feature. Everyone else copes fine without...
To be fair, monster trucks aren't exactly the kind of vehicle you could toss onto an official jbeam without completely awful results.
