Yeah, I'm getting it, too. Funny thing, it looks just fine under the ground collision debug mode, as does the bridge in Utah that currently has broken collision. I'm wondering if there's some pending patch that will help fix this. In the meantime, I'm unsure of how to fix this in any way but temporarily.
I've been on this map alot lately and haven't experienced any road collision anomalies what so ever. I have 0.68. Am I missing something?
There's one collision triangle in the south part of the Terrace that one can kinda fall through for some reason. I'm unsure of why, though. I can be found by starting at the Welk Street spawn point, and turning right at the intersection at the end of the street. Staying in the right lane and moving slowly enough, your car will fall into an invisible hole before you reach the gas station. The same effect occurs in Utah on the left lane of the eastbound highway bridge.
Interesting, I did just that after reading gigawerts post and couldn't find it. Now I'm on a mission.
Hot damn, I was right. The newest patch seems to have fixed the Terrace street collision bug. Yeah, I'm pretty sure that one chalks up to personal laziness. I'll probably get in a fix for that sooner or later.
The trim material is not supposed to be orange. Normally the orange color signifies that the link to the textures are broken, which is unfortunate, because the trim material doesn't have any textures to begin with. The only suggestion is that there is some conflicting mod.
Maybe some low rise buildings on the main street would be nice, you know, like 3-4 story apartments/motels and some more street lights would be appreciated.
Make sure you're running the most recent version. The patch that came out a couple of weeks ago fixed this issue for most users, including myself.
If it just falls in this can happen sometimes with oddly shaped triangles (stretched too far on one axis VS other axis), if it gets stuck, like it's being vacuumed into it, it means normals face wrong way (which would usually be visible). If it just falls in, you can divide triangles more to try and avoid, but if it's normals faced the wrong way i'd really be shocked as Occam's Razer knows how to model fairly well and doesn't usually do that. These would both come down to how the models are made, but I am not having any issues with this on my end but I will check again. I've used models (with permission of course) from this map and they generally work 100% as expected/intended and are quite well made (I checked them out in the 3d modeling programs). I didn't make use of the road-bases though as that would make it look like a copy of this map and I want this map and my map to have different characters.
Yea i just pointed the thing out evryone makes mistakes attlesst i did not leave a 1 star rating and said some thing like:dis no wurk fix roud now!!!! Sjht mud
