All I can do at this point is echo the other posters and say that suicide is never the way out of anything. Suicide survivors will all tell you the same thing: the instant they crossed what they thought was the point of no return, they realized immediately that they had a lot more left to live for than they thought they did. Think about the other people. If you've been here long enough, you'd know that I'm a firm believer in Jesus and believe that He can get you through even the worst times. But even if you don't believe that, and even if you think you have no friends, I can absolutely, 100% guarantee that someone, somewhere, would be beyond heartbroken to see you go. And life, in the U.S. at least, almost never gets so bad that it can't ever get better. I will agree with what everyone else has said about the TV; the mainstream media is feeding you a steady diet of negativity because it serves their various purposes. But from every cloud, there is a silver lining; every time one of these disasters hits, people in and around the affected area band together and show the narrative of hatred and division for the big fat lie it is. Empathy is a normal part of being a human; while I know there are places where it's more difficult to come by, the thugs you see on the news who have turned their empathy off are the minority in the vast majority of places.
In my opinion mainstream media gets far to much hate. They tend to be fairly accurate on the whole especially when compared to services like twitter and facebook where provably fake news stories actually gain traction. It is absolutely fair to say that many outlets do sensationalise things, and tabloid "news" is total crap since everything is an "opinion piece". There is the issue of websites like breitbart though, which exist to do nothing other than push an agenda at any cost and never issue corrections to false information. Then again, I live in the UK and from what I have heard the US news media tends to be hyper sensationalist to try and keep the viewers attention.
As an American, I agree with this. What Drumpf calls the "failing" New York Times is actually one of the better news outlets - sad that many people won't read it just because of what some ignorant cheeto says. It's actually pretty neutral and covers a broad range of events, not just politics.
No offence but its getting a bit hectic now, this thread isn't for suicide prevention, a few posts yeah ok but like 2 pages... srsly gys
General Discussion, like every time i open this thread it seems there is one user threatening to commit suicide and then everyone online is then helping, but is this really the best place, like can't people just phone up Suicide prevention phone lines, like i dont know if it was just me but if i had a bad day i wouldn't drear on about how bad my life is on BeamNG, like others might if they have nowhere else to go, but then phoning people through the Suicide phone lines is better to have a human voice down the phone instead of text on a screen
Life sucks. It is not fair. We are not born equal. Others will suffer while others succeed. If you had told me exactly one year ago that I would have two ex girlfriends by now, I would have laughed at you. But you guessed it, I do have two of them. In the past year, I have suffered. I have had bad feelings, I've felt sad and thought about really bad things. I have made mistakes and caused trouble for others even though I never intended to. My family feels like I didn't belong here. Life is stressful because of school. So I get you if you feel like life sucks. But during that last year I've had some good moments. I have felt happy and I have mostly good memories from both of my ex girlfriends. I have made friends for life. I (finally) have people I can trust on anything. I have been able to do things I like. There are good things I will never forget from the past year. Trust me, even if it felt wrong today, it may not tomorrow. There is always hope, there are always new opportunities. Do absolutely not give up. I do not have high hopes for the future but I will make sure it is the best I can make it. Have a nice day, I'm going to sleep
This video is great: The guy is a legend. He has a couple older videos on YouTube before he was paralysed that you may have seen where he rides road bikes like a trials bike.
Yes it is BeamNG. I have found a temporary solution, though, click "run all plugins this time", and then Flash will work, but only for that page. So, it's still very annoying.
Yeah, but the file uploader looks like this: And I can't upload multiple files at once when it's like this, so I have to keep it on.
Derp derp derp, ignore my original comment You can drag files directly onto the text box to upload them (including multiple files)
So I'm not the only one to notice. I originally thought they removed the multiple uploading system. Edit: I think they did.
There was a time where I could upload multiple images, for example to Community Screenshots. I haven't been able to do that anymore, which is annoying.
All I know is that uploading multiple files used to work normally. But meh, dragging multiple files onto the text box works just as well and is how I have been doing things for a while out of convenience of not having to navigate file paths.
@CaffeinatedPixels If you do decide to kill yourself, make the noose out of spaghetti. Then it won't hurt you. Don't commit suicide. @DriftinCovet1987 This is not supposed to be funny. Suicide is not something to laugh at.
